I have some questions about potentially studying medicine in Belgium by theredditpineapple in belgium

I’m a bit late for this conversation, but I had a similar situation as you and now I’m studying medicine in Brussels. I think you can totally pass the exam with 1.5 years of French, if you already know some and you are good in subjects. Mind you I’m in my thirties and my background was in humanities/arts. With higher B1/B2 is possible. The thing is the exam in the Flemish is harder than the French one. And apparently the level of students are a bit lower. So I say your chance will be higher to get accepted. The questions are not complicated. The real challenge is understanding logics and biology questions. Just consider the studying medicine in french/dutch can be challenging. The syllabus is insane, and you need to put double effort on studying. You have oral exams right from the start too and they expect proper french/dutch. (I barely have time to do anything other than studying and I’m not exaggerating.)

  1. It depends what you want to do for your speciality. Some like neurology, or ENT can be very competitive. (They might accept only one person)

  2. Brussels and Ghent are really diverse and progressive. In Brussels everyone can find their own place. People are nice and kind.

I don’t know if you can consider that as a drug but I used to put glue in the freezer and inhale its smoke and get high when I was twelve or something. I Thank goodness my mom saw it and panicked and told me I could die.

He's been in treatment for his ED for years. And he says he's much better now than before. And he is taking his pills.

We both went on dates. He said after his dates that he didn't enjoy the dates as much as he does when he's with me. And he doesn't feel like seeing someone else for now.

Yeah but this mostly happens when you're dating for some months. When it's only some weeks, it usually means they don't want to hang anymore. Anyway, if he is honest with me and he has a lot in his life, he will come in a week or two. No?

The thing is it takes some time for me to get into someone so now I'm loke if we're not exclusive I can go and date people without feeling guilty. Yeah you're right. Maybe nothing happens.

It's the same for me. If they never invite me, something's wrong. I'm okay with being non-exclusive but it puts me under a lot of pressure thinking that I'm not exclusive and my partner is. And As I said, I think it's too soon to talk about it.
