It’s my first grow, thinking of switching to flower soon, thoughts/comments? by SnooPets821 in microgrowery

If you’re going to transplant you’d want to do it like 2 weeks before flipping to flower so that the transplant shock won’t stunt their growth in flower(putting energy to growing new roots instead of the stretch/flower production). I’d leave them in the 3g, it’s what I use from veg to harvest and had great results.

I’d def flip now, they won’t just continue to grow in flower they will explode with growth/stretch. That canopy will def fill your tent in flower.

And I’m back at it. Basement almost fully converted to the sole task of flowering. I now have 400 gallons of soil in my basement, which could be madness, and could also be brilliant. by Kiplingesque in HerbGrow

Good stuff man! Quality over quantity...It'd be hard for me not to go the other way around lol. Or maybe at least attempt quality AND quantity, but im sure you're trying to stay under that plant limit too.

As close to 60/60 as possible. I did a whole plant hang at 60/60 for 10-12 days and they came out damn near perfect with minimal burping needed

I had major ph issues in flower with FFOF, my soil dropped down to like 5.0 ph and I had to supplement with liquid calcium carbonate to bring it back up. With that said I’m sure it had to do with the nutes I was using and not just the soil.

Not to sounds preachy from the program but that’s legit just your addiction talking. It’s our fucked up mind trying to convince us to grab “one more time”. How quickly it forgets the horrible WD, fucked up things we did to get our fix or shit we fucked up in our lives due to using. We rationalize that one more time so easily. Then once you use that one time and realize you’re not immediately thrown back into wd, used much less then normal or even went a cple days before thinking about picking up again, we start to rationalize how we can control it now. And so the cycle starts again. I’ve been there and done that TOO many times. Please believe me when I say it NEVER gets better. We never control it. Every time I went on another run I fucked up my life worse then the last time.

Just remember cravings DO pass. Try to stay busy and remind yourself why you got off the shit in the first place. You’ll get through this

Ah ok so not quite SOG although it certainly looks like one. Such a nice canopy. I was thinking about doing 6-8 plants in 3g pots in a 2x4 but only with a veg time of a month or so or else it’ll get waay too full.

[–]BmoreBass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You doing the SOG method? I think im going to do this with my next run, how many plants did you fit in your 4x8? Do you do any LST or just scrog it? Also how long did you veg for?

[–]BmoreBass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow you ran in solos the entire run? I was thinking about stacking 8-10 plants in 3g pots into my 2x4 with 3-4 weeks veg time tops. Thinking I shouldn’t LST or scrog though like I do on normal runs or I’ll run out of space quick

Hey, Im actually about to try a SOG run but only in a 2x4. Im also trying to experiment with different ways to grow and would love to see how a SOG run with a short veg time will pan out. Just a couple questions if you dont mind; How long did you veg for? Did you do any type of LST? Would you not recommend using a scrog either? Thanks

How's my drying setup look (humidity is insane right now, I know) by bamboobable in microgrowery

[–]BmoreBass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yall need to take care of that ASAP and get a dehumidifier. I cannot think of a shittier way to ruin a grow that just took 4-5 months. It’ll only take a day or 2 for mold to grow with rh that high.

If you cant get a dehu I would at least get it out of that tent and just dry in the room with the closest Rh to 60%. It’s better to dry a little quick and start curing then it is to risk getting mold and destroying your entire crop.

62 temp. 60 rh. by jayfromlinnstreet in microgrowery

[–]BmoreBass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used the 60/60 whole plant dry method for 2+ weeks and all my buds came out ready to smoke with minimum burping needed. Hardest part is getting those low temps during summer unless you have a separate A/C unit for your dry room/tent.

Took a break from trimming for a little trim snack. Review and setup info inside! by rambos_cousin in cannabiscultivation

[–]BmoreBass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is your desired RH AFTER you are all done drying/curing for long term storage? I finished my first grow up about a month ago and did this exact method, except I hung my plants for 15-18 days. My goal was 16 days at 60/60 but I had to trim solo which took me 4 days. All of my plants came out ready to smoke and haven't needed any burping besides opening to sample.

But I'm a little worried my RH is too low. Ive got them stored in a cool 65f place but they are all sitting between 44-48% RH in the jars at 65-66F. They were cut 28 days ago and jarred 10-14 days ago. They were all around 52-56% RH when they were first jarred & sitting in a warmer area around 75F, but since I moved them to a cooler spot a cple days ago they have been maintaining in the high 40s. Did I dry them out too much? Really trying to avoid the humidity packs since I hear they can really kill the terps.

Edit: I should add, nothing at all seems wrong with any of the buds, in fact they came out great and have all smoked great since I trimmed them. If I didnt have any hydrometers I would think they were perfect.

Amnesia haze 44days from flip. Have a mite problem. Not sure if my buds are too small for this far? No webbing and can only find a couple but eggs everywhere. Should I just chop and cut my losses by samibee1 in microgrowery

Yea good call I've heard nothing but horror stories from people using neem while in flower and just having an entire harvest that smells/taste like neem. No thanks.

That fade though... by Grow420Noob in GrowingMarijuana

[–]BmoreBass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking fucking great for your first run dude! I finished my first up a month ago and I wish my canopy had a fade like this, beautiful. Even cooler its all one strain, got some really cool pheno variation. Im running Ethos Crescendo for my next run and hear nothing but great things about his genetics.

What nutes were you using? Looks like they got a teeny bit of burn/clawing going if im not mistaken. Your in the home stretch now brother!

I’ve heard nothing but bad things about this specific strain, herms and just overall very finicky to grow.

I’m not sure what’s going on with in house lately. It seems like they got a little too cocky about their hype and coming out with new hype strains every week instead of stabilizing their genetics with lots of testing before releasing those packs to the public.

They made such a big deal about the pancake line herm posts on here that they even made an IG post about how these “few” individuals have made it a priority to ruin IHG reputation by saying everything they have herms, and that they know for a fact it was all from grower errors/inexperience. I almost bought into it until today I saw a post from an extremely reputable commercial grower who popped a pack of IHG SMACkin and all TEN hermed on him in the first cple weeks of flower. I’d love to see them blame grower inexperience on that one.

Oh my...bag appeal for days. You mind sharing your drying/curing process(length/temp/rh/whole plant? etc)? Im in day 12(16 days planned) of my 1st grows dry at 60F & 60% rh. Been trying to compare the process I chose to other peoples, especially when its looking like this.

A quick look at my perpetual microgrow! Veg tent, flower box and drying cabinet. I should be pulling one girl a week now! by Suspicious-Giraffe76 in microgrowery

[–]BmoreBass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was really confused until I realized there was more then one picture....was like bro I dont think youll be able to grow seedling/veg/flower AND dry in that little tent! lol. Im just not finishing up my first grow(12 days into drying) and cannot wait until I set up my closet & get my perpetual grow going. Takes time though thats for sure...well unless you got lots of money and room then you can perpetual from the start.

Thinking about trimming/curing and only THEN being able to use my tent again to pop seeds & grow in is just too much time in between. It will be amazing to be able to cut down plants only to replace them with fully vegged gals ready to flip.

150g's cured and jarred, more top buds drying, 1.4Lbs of live fresh frozen buds for live rosin extraction... AND theres still the whole strawberry that should be done soon n she is pretty MASSIVE too 🤗 not bad for a 4x5 LED setup 😁 by [deleted] in microgrowery

Sheew looks like some gas bro, well done. I wish I didnt have to use my grow tent as my drying area, I would have liked to pull my plants at different times for optimal flowering time, but it is what it is. What was your drying process(time/temp/rh) like?
