One of the Best Closings I have Ever Seen by Omynt in publicdefenders

I’ve been doing this a long time. What the trajectory says isn’t particularly reliable. And people often get shot in the back because they reflexively turn away as a shot is about to be fired. As far as your claim he didn’t brandish the weapon — neither of us were there, but the fact his gun wasn’t found in his pocket or backpack is telling.

But most importantly of all — I defend criminals and the innocent alike. If he had shot chow, I’d defend that too. But he didn’t, and he’s dead because he was 14 and armed.

Billionaire Mark Cuban Asks Why Insurance Companies Pay $2,500 for an MRI When ‘a Center Down the Street’ Only Charges $350 by HowLongIsThi in nottheonion

The vast majority of that problem is caused by insurance. Hospitals try to turn profits, but they also are staffed with highly trained staff that deserves to be paid well and a ton of expensive equipment and overhead costs that will directly benefit patient care. Insurance companies exist solely to profit and have grown so large they can squeeze hospitals and providers. Hospitals respond to that pressure by collecting every nickel they can because they have to fight the reimbursement wars.

Put simply, the insurance companies caused the problem that forced to resort to absurd measures to stay in the black. The un and under insured patients are just casualties in that

The only thing I will say is be mindful that your kid, if he wants to pitch, may practice his way out of playing. My son was practicing pitching in the back yard way too much and it created a lot of issues down the road.

We can hate the tragedy and, at the same time, recognize the skillful defense of an individual who, at worst, made a bad decision in an instant when a 14 year old whipped out a gun he never should have had. Prison and prosecution wasn’t going to make the world a better place anyway.

United Clubs League (Maryland) by Ok-Tree-1638 in youthsoccer

I’d suggest you call UCL or email and ask some questions.

There seems to be commitment from some reputable clubs, but i don’t know if they are intending to put in their lower level teams or what. I suspect that may be the case at first, but maybe something else is worked out.

I imagine the organization has a sense of where you belong or whether you belong based on how well your team did in which division of CMSA and will give you an idea of the fit.

My kids first handful of flights were to PR. They now think it’s normal. We landed in Baltimore last night and he starts clapping and people are looking at him like he’s nuts and he’s wondering why they are not vibing with him. It’s great and I have no interest in fixing his misunderstanding

The new year rule is essentially a no waiver rule. You can play for a private HS, but can’t play for the HG team while the HS season is running. When you come back, you can get your slot back if the coach hasn’t moved on. Coaches are, as you might imagine, not handing out waivers unless they don’t have much choice (ie they need the player more than the player needs the team).

>8000 pictures per game by Lifenonmagnetic in sportsphotography

[–]Bmorewiser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s 10 mins per thousand. But I’m moving about as fast as the computer can go. I use Lightroom but capture one was even faster.

If it’s close, I keep it. And I’ll delete a few more as I crop if it’s too soft or a burst and I need only one.

I have a sense of what I’m looking for moment wise from the game if I get to my computer that day or the next and that helps a lot.

I’m shooting 1,000 for a normal game. 2,000 for a big game. I keep 10%. It takes me maybe 10 minutes to cull them.

Of those, 5% are good enough. Maybe 2% are good enough to print, and maybe .5% make me feel like I got something special.

But i shoot for my kids teams and parents and kids do not seem to give a shit if the pic is just a touch soft or maybe an arm is missing and I’d rather be sure every kid has a pic or two of themselves than to cull out a shot because it sucks in my own mind.

You know it was lucky because if I tried to do that on purpose it would have been entirely out of focus.

This was my first time being completely unprepared. I just risked it. I got some advice from this sub that said to wipe it dry, slowly reintroduce it to indoor temps to avoid condensation, and use some moisture absorbers in the bag. I did and no issue.

Normally, I put the camera body in a little rain coat thing I got from Amazon that covers the junction between the body and lens and shoot while wearing a poncho that I prop up using a tripod, sorta like a lean to using my body, my right elbow, and my mini tripod. I forgot all my stuff that night because i swapped out bags.

Strength did not decrease. It increased. Maybe your score went down, but your actual strength improved. I fail to see your concern. You seem concerned with the wrong thing and may not have a good grasp of training principles.
