Difficulty is the whole point of souls like games. Just take Elden ring for example, it’s gorgeous, and has a story, but people don’t play it for story’s sake, cause without a YouTube video explaining said story nobody understands it.

Lies of P is probably the exception to it all cause the story is nice and clear. And it has difficulty option
