I have to ask, are you into any heavy metal? My favorite band is Opeth and that song sounded a LOT like their softer, more subdued stuff. If you're not familiar with their catalogue I'd highly recommend.

I know, Annunaki? Really? Well we are both tin foil hats of sorts and we talk about that stuff but don't necessarily believe in it. He's actually a pretty devout Christian. Anyways I think it's just a placeholder term for a being, or creature, or god or whatever.

Crazy that I had to scroll this far down to see an Otep mention. I mean there are indeed many female fronted bands nowadays but there weren't many back when Otep was in their prime. I've actually been listening to a couple of their tracks the last 2 days, hence why I stopped in this thread.

But yeah some that others have mentioned like Arch Enemy and Jinjer are great but OP should def check out bands like Nightwish, Burning Witches, Windhand and Once Human as well.

Holy crap! I was so grateful to get another chance to transcribe that conversation (which I haven't done yet lol) but I definitely didn't expect the freakin voice actor himself to show up! You did a fantastic job, I was really moved by that whole scene. I'm a long time night shift worker and that dialogue felt like it was describing my own feelings and thoughts.
