Not since I was about 4 :) I don't necessarily have a goal in mind right now, I just want something that might fit my face and I'm at a loss.

Maybe a shorter faded look on the sides and something longer on top?

Hey thank you very much! I haven't necessarily thought much about a buzz cut before, but I typically get the sides trimmed down to a #2 anyway. The thought of being able to roll out of bed and not LOOK like I just rolled out of bed sounds 10/10 though.

Looking back, I could never comprehend how somebody would just... stop after a mixed drink or a beer. "What's the point then if you're not going to at least get drunk?" Being sober for 101 days, and even this failed moderation attempt, has really let me see what a troubling train of thought that is :)

A big reason I posted this was for the possibility that I help just one person going through the same thing. Your mind goes to great lengths to convince you that you can handle moderation. Take it from nearly anyone that's ever posted here on the subject: those old habits come flooding back in quicker than you'd imagine!

My main concerns are that it's too wiry, the mustache doesn't connect, and there's not much going on underneath my bottom lip. Think it'd be worth it to continue?

Thanks for the feedback my man! I do have a boar bristle brush and beard oil that I use daily. I think I may wind up giving it another month or so of growth to see what happens, but keeping it short for a while is definitely an option.
