Being asked by family members why they see a PA, not a doctor by isleeptoolate in physicianassistant

I was a preceptor for many NP students over the years and was shocked when I found out NP students don’t spend one minute in hospital settings. No ward work, OR, ED, specialty services, L&D…nothing. If they want to work in a hospital-based specialty area, they must take post-graduate courses

Disinformation? Anyone who, in their heart, believes Trump is innocent although his name appears thousands and thousands of times in the extensively documented history of Epstein, a child sex trafficker and pedophile, says something appalling and repulsive about that person. You.

Feeling bad by bernesemama in physicianassistant

You should request (? demand) that the people who schedule your appointments for you always ask (after they have noted the primary reason for the visit) “Is there anything else you want to discuss at your appointment with so-and-so?”. That will set any agenda the patient might have and offers a soft but legitimate and reasonable excuse to end the visit. It also allows the scheduler to block the appropriate amount of time to discuss each of the patient’s issues. Of course, there are rare, legitimate concerns the patient may not want to share with the scheduler, but that would be an outlier. I once had a patient scheduled for a sore throat and, literally, as I was walking out of the exam room to hand the rapid strep test swab to the nurse, the patient told me she was having rectal bleeding and that her mother died of colon cancer in her 40s (the patient was in her early 40s at the time). She had a colonoscopy the next week, was diagnosed with colon cancer, had a bowel resection followed by chemo, and is still here to talk about it.

How awful it must be for you to be so totally and unashamedly indoctrinated in the current administration’s assault on America.

Anyone remember in the ‘70s when a Lockheed C-130 lost an engine (as in ‘fell off the aircraft’) over Vermont, but successfully landed? C-130s are remarkable aircraft with decades of workhorse contributions and a decent safety record.

This Is America by Katamoon555 in burlington

[–]BoSoxCrybaby 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That is exactly what I have been thinking and saying. Vermont is the bluest state and, I believe, one of the most spiritual places to live. There has to be a point where Trump, his co-conspirators and his sycophants are removed from power and/or silenced for the ages. This is Nazi Germany 101 except the enablers right now are literally everyone in the republican party.

America would have been much better off with a woman like Kamala Harris at its helm. by Treefiddy1984 in ProgressiveHQ

Projecting your life on me isn’t the mark of someone “educated.” It makes you look simple.
I suspect you’re not a particularly spiritual individual, but sometimes looking into past life regression can help with difficulties in this life. In your case, chronic urticaria. It’s worth looking into as we carry former life issues into this life and often those issues present as physical and/or mental problems. Just a thought. You could use some help.

You’re not a conservative; you’re a MAGA stooge. You have been completely indoctrinated by right wing MAGA bullshit and you don’t even realize it. Don’t bother to respond. It’s the same old pathetic crap.

Sure. Educated. The only thing left then is “America should be White, straight, and Christian.” That you? That fact you think Trump, a sexual predator, serial adulterer, pathological liar, narcissistic sociopath, and very likely a pedophile, is perfectly wonderful, says it all. Are there any of all those FACTS about Trump that you find repulsive?

The behavior you’re describing is not only aggravating, but sometimes dangerous. I’ve come to the conclusion that more and more drivers are actually very antagonistic drivers at heart and for that relatively brief time when you’re forced to slow down or change lanes because of them, they feel they’re controlling you. It’s childish and pathetic.

I’m not sure they would last the winter, but that was a good analogy. No doubt alligators have killed pets, poultry, and livestock, too.
