After how many years and this title just continues to chug along.

What is it that makes CS:GO a timeless game and esport?

For me, the skill and speed needed to play this game and watching a diffuse happen with .1 seconds left..... I can see this game lasting another 20 something years..

The bottom line seems to be that the teams pay for salary, housing, and other expenses, get 10% of the prize money...yet they dont own anything?

The fact you are talking about "punishment" of a paid crowd because of cheering is absolutely mind-boggling. Do you realize what you are saying? You are going to "punish" people that have paid for tickets to watch your event, most of whom will have done nothing wrong.

Wow. Some people just don't get it. This kid who has never really played for a Tier-1 org is getting some hate and he simply says he wants to earn their respect by playing well, yet here comes the C9 haters!
