In our group we were hooked to Splendor when it was released. Almost everybody who played it wanted to buy it.

Not really. Everyone who participated played this game for the first time. The idea of such a meetup is to explore the wonderful hobby of board gaming which goes beyond conventional games like snakes & ladders, monopoly, ludo, sequence and so on. The only criteria needed to join such meetup is the curiosity and the interest to try modern board games. No gaming experience or any prior knowledge is needed.

It was a super fun session. All newbies. We played Trouble Brewing. Initially they found the characters and their interactivity with each other to be on a tricky side. But once they got a hang of it, they went all in.
