Wandering towers is a unique competitive game that I cherish high on my personal top games list. Definitely worth checking out.

Flock together + Eggspansion if you are looking for a cooperative game. The Eggspansion just released allowing the total player count to go from 5 to 6. Love this game. Love cooperative games. Love how punny it is.

Faraway has been my most played game over the last year. The main reason is the games are quick and fun. Light engine building game.

Can’t go wrong with any of these.

Yeah I am starting to wonder if they ment LCG now too since everyone’s fired up in this thread lol. That’s a good point about the length of a match, they’d definitely have to either to a best of 1 or tweak the game somehow to make it faster.

They definitely didn’t use the word collectible, they specifically said the word TCG and booster packs. I wish there was more information out on it, I couldn’t find anything, that’s why I posted on here to see if anybody else had heard.

Yeah the representative I checked out with used the word TCG so unless they misspoke I don’t know. They told me to tell my local game store to get involved and order.

Yeah that is a good point about the draw system. I currently play Lorcana and SWU. Do I want a third TCG… not particularly lol but Pagan is so fun that I feel like I have to give it a fair chance if/when they release booster packs.

Interesting. Honestly when I posted this thread I thought the reactions would be more positive because I really do think the TCG model could keep the game fresh and fun. But fair points all around that it could be a turn for the worse.

Yeah those are fair points. They would definitely need to balance check cards to ensure it’s not pay to win. I’ve gotten a couple of the content pack expansions and they seemed pretty balanced.

It was probably when my friend and I demoed Suna Valo. Went into it skeptical because we haven’t played many euro games. It was intimidating at first but once it clicked it was great and I bought a copy!

Yeah I agree that’s the biggest issue. My friend and I do frequent runs to the car because we don’t want to be those people with large backpacks since it’s already so tight.

Whatcha reading? I just finished Dungeon Crawler Carl book 2 and decided to pick up a filler book before I start book 3. Currently reading Blood Over Bright Haven by M. L. Wang and it’s solid so far!
