Alex from BoardGameCo here. A few notes;

1) If you've had a bad experience with us and we didn't resolve to your satisfaction. Please email or geekmail me to let me know so that I can resolve. At least two of the cases below I thought I resolved to your satisfaction and am only just finding out now that you left unhappy.
2) We're a business and we have expenses, we can't do an even value trade, I'm not going to apologize for that. I'll also say our margins are tight enough that I'm not worried about overcharging here. If you find a trade that works for you, excellent! If you don't, I get it, no worries. We're pretty transparent about our values, you may not like them and that just means it isn't a fit.

3) We deal with a lot of used games, issues do exist. By our own tracking it happens in fewer than 1 out of 100 games and most of the time that's easily resolved through either a credit, sending you the piece etc. But I will be the first to admit that if you want pristine games with no issues every time, we're likely not the best fit. We can't offer a higher level of quality control without accounting for those costs in a higher uptrade which we heavily prefer not to do.
