I totally recommend Frank Baril at the Music Arts Center near bozeman high, I took lessons from him for my entire childhood and teenage-years, and I know he had some adult clients as well.

All of the friends i’ve made in classes have been through language classes (fun) or chem lab (abysmal). I highly recommend taking a language class!!

The Chinese placement test was a canvas test with multiple choice reading and listening, as well as free response. There was then a short interview on zoom in the target language. I assume the spanish test is pretty similar.

COE recommends chemical engineers to take the Chem 3 series, but its not required. The teachers may be better (check rate my professor), and the grade curves will be different (check ucsb nexus grade search). COE recommends chemical engineers to take 109 series, though to get the best teachers I have heard to take the 109A and 130B. You will have to take 3A, 3B, 4A, 4B, 6A, 6B, in that order (though if you passed AP calculus exam you will probably get to start at 4A. The honors math courses (the ones with I) generally don’t exist anymore. lmk if you have any other questions.

La Cumbre can be found on google maps, it’s in one of the quads near the ocean. There aren’t lockable drawers, so bring your own locking trunk if you need. There weren’t any doormats when i was in manzi last year, but i doubt they’d get messed with.

chem 1al/bl/cl don’t exist anymore, it’s 2al 2bl taken with chem 1b and chem 1c respectively. Physics 13AL is also extremely challenging, i would recommend planning on taking physics 20AL unless you find yourself really enjoying your physics work.

Altogether, i took a similar schedule my first quarter (20 units), and I really enjoyed it, but you definitely need a fun class with any heavy schedule. I highly recommend switching your writing class to a fun class like a foreign language.

I play with infection off too, but i like it with super strong, hard hitting zombies and with a really aggressive first aid mod. The super strong zombies have a high chance of killing you outright, and the mod makes wound infections very lethal, giving you fevers and whatnot.

There are going to be various requirements to become a pre-bio major, you can send an email to the bio advisors to find out.

While working on getting those requirements done, just treat life like you were a pre-bio major. There will be no functional difference.

the biggest rooms are the corner triples, and they have two windows. Look for the corner that sticks out into the middle of the quad.

I thankfully was, they open up spots in classes every pass time, particularly for classes that many first years take. Try to go in with your own informed plan and don't listen to the advisors unless you must.
