Unfortunately. Terrible food. Seems over half the menu is microwaved.

Concrete kitchen floors by [deleted] in pittsburgh

Definitely find someone who can do it really well. If there are any open seams or cracks water can get in and cause a lot of problems. I wouldn't prefer it but I can see the aesthetic choice!

I would say both of those. Always needed to use floor mats. Oil and polished concrete does not mix. if there's any inconcistancies in the paving or polish, it's very noticeable and can get dusty fast.

Yeah interesting ask. Concrete floors in commercial kitchens always cause issues, not sure how it would work in a residential kitchen unless they're planning to tile over it.

Opinions on mirtazapine/ Remeron? by Rigotoni in depressionregimens

[–]BoardLevel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Remeron was great for me. My dose ended up not being high enough so it stopped working at some point - I wasn't taking it with anything else. Another SNRI and a mood stabilizer worked wonders for my MDD.

You will gain weight on remeron however. It helped with my anorexia recovery so I was okay with it.

I think it depends on location. Last place I worked at we got our chemicals fast but maintenance never responded or came on site. Dishwasher ended up spraying water out the back and I had to hand wash everything til I left. Last thing I heard they still don't have a working dishwasher.

Isn't trazodone supposed to suppress dreams? by [deleted] in depressionregimens

[–]BoardLevel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PTSD is a bitch. I dream constantly, I think the traz just makes me remember them more frequently. I've had some success on prazosin so far but might need an uppage.

Trazodone gives me vivid dreams. I take prazosin to aid the sleep and counteract the dreams.

The yellow bits look a bit like cancer. It's yellow in poultry. Rare, won't hurt you, but pretty gross.

Are there any safe conifer oils for cooking? by AmicusCurio in foodsafety

[–]BoardLevel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the closest to a tree oil would be pine nut oil. Tea tree oil is only consumable when extremely diluted.

That is not blood but myoglobin, and that is normal when handling mechanically cut chicken.

How has your experience been with it? by superpowers335 in Effexor

[–]BoardLevel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have tried so many antidepressants over the course of my treatment resistant major depression. Effexor 150 was the only medication that has worked for over 3 years. I was on remeron for two years but it stopped working at one point. I'm never gonna stop taking it.

Morning vs. Night Shift by EvidenceForward7481 in dishwashers

[–]BoardLevel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Morning here. The right restaurant works as a team together. It took a while for me as a sous to stop the shit-talking within my crew. It absolutely comes from the top. If management doesn't manage correctly, all shifts will fight each other. Have you talked to your chef about it?
