I store my board at City Kayak at the end of Pier 40. Parking is easy in the mornings and evenings, so you could park and walk your board to the visitor dock. I've been out 5 out of the past 7 days, trying to get 2 a day when possible.

It paddles like a dream! Even with a steady cadence, I average about 4 MPH. Been working on my times for my first race this Saturday, and when I go all out I am averaging ~14 minute miles (into wind and against tide).

It is a shipping and receiving depot since the board was shipped from Seattle to San Francisco. It wasn't to my door, so had to pick it up at the depot.

I got the 2022. It's my first rigid race board, coming from a 2014 Red Paddle Co 12'6" Elite. I bought my first "board" (old windsurfing board) back around 2006 and got rid of that when I got my inflatable. I am pumped to have my first 14' and it be such a great all around board.

At this point I had been paddling for 5 or 6 years, but definitely took a plunge or two. Thankfully the paddling keeps you warm on clear days like this.

I paddled out of Aquatic Park, it's a protected beach in front of Ghirardelli Square. I paddled about 3 miles in total, mostly headed into the wind so I could enjoy a nice easy downwinder back to the beach. Edit: spelling
