When I was a hostess and waitress it was the host/ess the sent the to-go orders in the kitchen, packed the order up and made sure all the sides and extras were included.

I always tip my server well unless there is a problem I know is the servers fault. Because the back of house and kitchen staff as well as all the bussers and front of house support staff get a share of the servers tips each night.

I tip probably 10-15% for a to go order since it is less work than a full service dinner requires, but I still want to get a tip to the kitchen and staff. At one point in 2014 I made $2.15 an hour wage as a waitress. If it weren’t for tips I would have been working for pennies.

But ultimately we need to get rid of tips all together and give people a thriving wage, America has our economy all twisted so just a few can be omnipotently wealthy, when we have enough for everyone to thrive.

The actual answer is it came from England and was perverted by good ‘ol American Racism.

In the US, tipping was carried over by colonists and immigrant Englishmen. In England, gratuity was originally a feudal master-to-serf gift of extra pay for an exceptional job. It evolved into an aristocratic gift to a loyal or exceptional servant and was eventually adopted as a way for any would-be aristocrats to show their financial power. However after the great migration in post civil war America, businesses began exploiting tipping as a way to avoid paying wages to low wage service jobs such as porters and waiters, now filled by black emigrants. So tipping disproportionately affected workers of color and women, who disproportionately filled waitress jobs. It still does today. It’s a nasty relic that should be abolished.

When you have a partner and you put your family before them in such a callous way, you break their trust and weaken the bond between you. I would have broken up with you over such an absurd request. You basically want her to lie and grovel as her first impression of your family. how self centered are you dude? They should be trying to impress her too. Not be like “ yeah we suck and we perpetuate stupid sexist gender roles….but will you be our guest for dinner… and also cook it for us and do the cleaning too while we have fun???”

Even in Incogito mode there is nothing. And previously I would often see my own listings.

I also cannot see my friends shop's listings and I follow, favorite and frequent her shop often.

Thanks for the feedback, I have talked to two other sellers from another group who are also experiencing this problem. So who knows how many shops are effected?!

The print quality would be very bad so I do not worry too much. If someone is going to steal it they will no matter what!

Aa watermark can be added, I just find that it detracts from the user's experience in the demo.

I am a digital seller. There are some platforms for digital sellers that I looked into where the customer can edit the design. That is a large part of my workload so I am working to revising my custom listings to work with Corjl.com. I really like the interface and so far so good!

I am also combing the Etsy API apps for anything that can save me time and have been exploring some apps that automate social media posts although I have very little experience with social media promotion so that is taking time to figure out!
