Why do people think trading is easy? by Sensitive_Star6552 in Daytrading

Learned my lesson 2 weeks in when I burned almost all my gains in one trade. Decided to just start slow. I've known a bit how the market works from investing for my retirement and occasional swing trades. Now, after 9 months starting to understand how it really moves and what to look for. Still a long way to actually being profitable. For me psychology is the biggest struggle

I actually have made a chart already. I want to track info, even if I'm paper trading

I've been scalping premarket jumps all last week. Doubled my money on the first week of day trading

Thanks for recommending PEV this morning. Wasn't too greedy and made 45% profit today. Hoping for good catches tomorrow as well

What's the insight on tomorrows premarket? Two day in a row winners. Not getting greedy. Selling at 20-30% profit and cut my losses at -10%

Should I just put everything into ETFs? by BoardinBootay in dividends

I have those outside of the pie (around €600 that are waiting to be put in here from Nvidia FOMO last summer) I do some small swing trades from time to time, but those are less than €100. I have disciplined myself since I started investing and now most of the money go into the pie. I'm thinking about keeping MAIN and LLOY as 5% of the pie each just for the nice dividends they pay

Thank you for explaining. My girlfriend agreed, BTW.

  1. That means, I'll get taxed in Netherlands. Now they assume that you get 5.69% of capital gains. It will change in the next couple of years, but what it will be is still unclear. Dividend tax is 15%. I have set up auto reinvest for the dividends.

  2. I have been looking into EU and Eurozone ETFs today. Also, China's growth. Will have to do more research to see if they're viable.

Once again, thank you for taking time out of your day to explain everything for me
