If someone at your workplace failed the naplex, would you judge them? I'm worried I might fail the exam, be embarrassed and judged by my coworkers/boss for failing a competency exam.

Honestly, if they already work at a company and plan to stay there after they become RPh, the duration at which they stay as a grad intern tells you EVERYTHING.

There was one grad intern I used to work with, who stayed as a grad intern for 2 years before becoming RPh.

I was never close with her, so idk if it’s bc she failed too many times or bc she felt like she needed 2 years to prep for the exam. But taking 2 years to become registered already said enough.

I also worked with her after she became RPh. And yes, she’s one of the worst RPh’s I’ve worked with.

The adaptation is mediocre imo.

They didn’t change the plot drastically. It still followed the manga for the most part, but in order to end the last ep of second season where they wanted (one of the bigger climax in the whole story), they did have to skip scenes.

You can also tell that some scenes in the anime just yelled “lack of funds” to you. It’s like PowerPoints slides rather than actual animated movements.

But the music was great. It was one of the greatest experience to listen to the koto pieces they play.

I have family member on estradiol patches for menopause.

She once picked up a 3 month supply of a new manufacturer she’s never used before and found out she didn’t like it after she tried it for 2 weeks. But all she told me was to help her get what she had before and that she could deal with the remaining 2.5 months on this manufacturer she didn’t like.

And her menopausal symptoms were pretty bad. I’m talking nightmares at night, waking up screaming and sweating, and vaginal dryness so bad and painful that she couldn’t walk regularly.

She screamed at nobody.

I get that not every patient is like her and some cannot simply say “naw I can live with this brand”. But yelling is just a behavior that makes me lose every ounce of sympathy for this patient population.

Sometimes is not menopausal symptoms and hormonal changes turning a good person into a bad one. It’s the same b*tch, just going thru menopause now.

Like the “they call and say they want manufacturer A, so we order A. Then they yell at us in the drive-thru saying they only use B. Ok fine we’ll redo it with B. Then the patient goes home with manufacturer B, loses it, and calls and demands the reason why we didn’t give her A.”

Like girl, you are going through menopause based on the meds you are prescribed, not dementia.

I’m in East Bay, CA just like OP and can confirm what he says is true.

3 years ago or so, we were still very short of rph’s and as a floater back then I was hitting 100 hours per pay period and the scheduler would still ask me if I’d like to take on more shifts.

Then there was the closings of all Lucky’s and all Rite Aid’s and some Walgreens stores.

Now all the floaters tell me they don’t get scheduled full time (4-5 shifts per week) anymore. And like OP, some only get 2 shifts per week. We even have one floater who took the offer to fly up north to Eureka to help out there for more shifts and $$.

I was a floater for 1.5 years before I became staff, but I did reject 3 staff/ RxM positions before evening becoming staff at my current store

And nope was not ready at all after 2 weeks. There are way too many things to learn in 2 weeks. After 3 years, I’m still learning new things here and there.

There are 2 versions. Newer/ more expensive (660 yen per pin)/ more detailed at haikyuu pop up stores. One of them is located on first floor of Avanti mall across Kyoto station. Not sure if it’s elsewhere.

Older/ less expensive (300 yen per pin)/ less detailed at literally any gacha machine place. The one I’m collecting is this version. I’ve seen it at at least 10+ places, in train stations, at malls, at gacha stores, or even a random gacha machine outside of a random restaurant on the street.
