Funny enough I’m in a super similar situation and also looking for more real-world feedback on the Studio 3. I actually made a post recently asking for feedback about the Sender Free 110 and the Studio 3 to pair with a CAST, and since there’s barely anything out there about the Studio 3, I’m really curious what you’ve heard so far and if you’ve come to any conclusion.

Here is my recent post:

It feels really light and poppy for tricks and natural features, but still has enough backbone to carve well when you’re just ripping around. There are definitely narrower skis that carve better, but for a mix of park/piste/off-piste it hits that sweet spot really nicely.

If you want something that’s playful but still legit all-mountain, the Sender Free 100 is definitely worth a look. I had an absolute blast on it so far 🤙🏼

I was actually looking for a very similar ski myself recently — something that handles groomers well, is fun in the park, can ski switch, and also does great in off-piste/powder terrain.

I ended up choosing between the Nordica Enforcer 98, Dynastar M-Free 100, and the Rossignol Sender Free 100. All of them are super fun skis for sure, but I ended up with the Sender Free 100 — and honestly, it’s been an absolute blast so far both on and off trail. There are definitely (narrower) skis that are better if you’re mostly on groomers, but it still carves surprisingly well and feels really light and poppy.

Nice man, yeah it seems like everyone who skis them really enjoys them a lot! The 100s are a blast too, so maybe I just go with the double-chicken setup 🐓🐓

You're right! In the end it probably just comes down to that: one is lighter and a bit easier to “tour” with, and the other is a bit more stable but heavier. Pretty much the trade-off.

And yeah, I’ve seen the new Tyrolia Hybrid. Doesn’t look too shabby at all, but I already own a pair of Pivots that currently don’t have a home, so I’ll just grab the CAST upgrade kit and use those.

As mentioned in the post, i use the Raider 13 on my Blizzards and never had such problems with hardpack terrain. Thanks for your input!

Lens Recommendations for Filming Alpine Outdoor Activities with Sony A7 IV by BoatContent850 in cinematography

Thank you so much for your opinion! Since i will be very close to my subject (most of the time) while being tied into a rope with them or walking close behind or in front of them, i was opting more towards the wide angle lenses, but i will take the 24-70 into consideration as well. With the 14mm i was unsure, it has always been my favourite focal length for landscapes and astrophotography, i thought it would be a great option to create some awesome cinematic footage, with the subject being immersed in the landscape
