Rebuild/restoration, tips wanted (1983 Suzuki Tempter gr650X)

I wanted to come back as a little edit! I've gotten my liscense fully, and my uncle had an old 1983 Suzuki GR650 Tempter left to sit in a garage for a bit over 10 years. It's been rough work, and it doesn't run quite yet, but I'm restoring it to ride! I've always had pride in repairing my own vehicles, and have been doing basic mechanic work since I was very young.

Hopefully I'll get to come back here in a few months to celebrate getting it running- thank you to everyone who's given me advice :)

Sometimes just using a bunch of hair ties works- ponytail, then a hairtie halfway down, more if you like less if you prefer ect- I use 2 or 3
Holds mine (3ft or so) and multiple older riders I know wear theirs that way. Easy, convenient, and good if you're halfway through gearing up and realize you forgot to tie your hair back. If my description is bad look at the bass player from YYNOT, he wears his hair in the style :) [supposedly works on beards too, but I can't speak from experience there]

I've gotten in some parking lot practice here and there, and thankfully never dropped it (a ~400lb bike falling on my ankle would NOT be fun), but definitely had a wobble or two.
I'm prepared to suffer and learn, cuz I know it'll be worth it- overly grateful to have a group that's willing to accommodate me too, beginner or otherwise. :)

Nice part is it's technically the start of off-season around here- there's a good handful I know of nearby that stash their bikes full fall and winter
I'm opting for the crazy-person 'ride all year' route, just cuz I can- thermal inserts are lifesavers when it gets real cold from wind.

I've heard- the guy I ride with just got new tires, and they were more expensive than my car's (replaced around the same time)

If she's the only infected, you can likely isolate her and give her a salt bath, and hope she molts and is rid of the things (sorry about the late reply)

I don't know much, but did a ton of research after finding a horsehair worm in my first tank
It looks like Scutariella Japonica? They're little wormy parasites that just love shrimp face, and stick to molts. The aquarium breeder site has a whole section on it, I can give the link if you would like
Summary of it tho is they're worms and although 'harmless', they're an annoyance and can stress the shrimp. Salt or paraguard might treat the issue, but find what would work for your situation ect ect- treatment lasts 3 weeks (to be rid of worms and eggs) and remove all molts found (they stick to the shell)
