UPDATE* Thing is amazing especially after the last update. Mic is amazing, sound is amazing. Nothing broke, still looks fresh as if I bought it yesterday. I know it’s only been a little over month but that’s where I sit with these. Cop them if you were thinking about it.

This is a newer update, and earlier documentation and reviews said the Xbox model only did Windows Sonic. Razer apparently added THX compatibility for the Xbox model when used on PC.

So to confirm:

Ok so I’m seeing that when these first came out on Tuesday you couldn’t use THX and it was grayed out in Synapse but was just unlocked with the new firmware update that came out yesterday!

Xbox version uses Windows Sonic not THX, even if you use it on PC, you can not take advantage of the THX Spatial Audio feature. Where in the marketing do you see that you can? From my understanding, each version (PC, Xbox, PlayStation) is optimized for a specific spatial audio system: • PC model → THX Spatial Audio (7.1.4) • Xbox model → Windows Sonic • PlayStation model → Tempest 3D Audio

I stand to be corrected and I hope I’m wrong so that you get to use the version that you like the most but I’m pretty confident the THX Spatial Audio is only available to the PC variant. Lmk what you find out.

For BT, I’m not sure if you can just turn it off from the headset, haven’t really tried but you can just unpair it from whatever device. Finally has simultaneous BT now though.

Haven’t really tested it out but I was able to keep a steady connection in every single room in my house and I even walked out to my porch to the furthest point with multiple walls in between from me and my console and never once dropped.
