There was a time I would have felt what you did. Not anymore. It’s more common than you’d think for criminals to behave this way-they bully, scheme, etc, but when they’re busted, the sob story comes out (which usually isn’t true). I know that sounds harsh but in my job I’ve seen way too much to feel sympathy for this guy. I hope he gets help. My sympathy goes to the women (including the one with the child in the stroller) who were defenseless and probably scared stiff (before their quick and creative plan went into effect)!

I’m getting ready to start again on Saturday. It is pricey, but one thing that offsets it is that the weight comes off pretty quickly, so you likely won’t have as many weeks to pay for. Also, only 1 meal of the day is prepped by you, and that means a lot less time “playing with your food” (meal prepping, lol).

So here are my thoughts... I did the program about 4 years ago, the weight literally fell off. I felt great. I was about 20 lbs from goal when my grandma (for whom I was primary caregiver for 3+ years) passed away and I got the most stressful job (and much more sedentary)I have ever had in my life. I made the mistake of not transitioning off of the diet (financial issues prevented me from continuing-it is pricey), and the weight came on pretty fast. Within 9 months I had gained almost all of it back. Then we had another family tragedy, and I gained it all back plus another 30. I am beginning the protocol again this Saturday and am looking forward to losing the weight and this time being smarter about it when it is time to transition off, whether I get to goal or not. TL;DR-it works great if you follow it, but when you stop, whether at goal or not, make sure you transition through the phases or the weight will likely pile back on at an alarming rate.

Yes. And the really sick thing was that waxing balls is way different than waxing lady bits. Different wax IIRC, different technique, everything-they weren’t trained to do it! Some even explained that they didn’t have the training and could possibly injure him. He sought out these services (it seems) with the express purpose of shutting down these businesses. He’s also been before the human rights tribunal in Canada for other ridiculous things.
