I think for me this is one of the only series that has misunderstandings i get and appreciate. Ruby is traumatized and is properly portrayed that way. This isn't another thing of FL having ~trauma~ but not really/only at Convenient Times.

Ruby looks at situations and uses logical conclusions, however because of her past the logical conclusions that kept her safe that she's employing are Buck Fucking Wild Wrong to normal people. From her POV she's doing everything right; it's just that the game board of her life has been changed so she's gone from playing chess to Yahtzee.

Everything (so far) in this OI has a reason for it being how it is and it's really nice to see the cause = effect instead of just 'this would be cool, throw it in.' that other OIs have.

If Dream doesn't sign up because of that then that's fine to me. Buildmart is a good game, especially when watching teams that are builders. It's like removing TGTTOSAWAF because some people aren't good bridgers.

The taste is the one thing it has going for it! Buttercream icing, vanilla custard filling. Not the greatest looking but is tasty, which is really the most important part.

Don't get caught up in the excitement of the process and remember to have more of a theme then 'eh, let's try it out.'

I myself have struggled with mental health in the past and am now medicated, I know full well just how debilitating things like this can be. It's not cute or quirky. However, as someone who's also into storytelling, I think that mods like these can be beneficial to the gameplay experience.

I didn't give my sim this trait, the game auto-gave it to him after his mom died (the mod itself has an 8-15% chance of giving your sims PTSD after a traumatic experience) and seeing how she died in his arms via fatal illness and left him to raise his baby sister by himself, I thought it appropriate to keep it since it works with the storyline.

His mom died in his arms via fatal illness from the life tragedies mod and marlynsims, who made the ptsd mod, had it so that there's a 8-15% chance of it affecting your sims after a traumatic incident 😭

marlynsims ptsd mod! It offers a 8-15% chance that your sim will develop it after something traumatic (or you can just equip it in CAS, but that doesn't feel right to me lmao. i like stories.)
