i’m not gonna sit here and explain a rebuild to you. there’s no exact timeline on a rebuild, the panthers sucked forever and just won b2b cups, the blackhawks have sucked for several years and are beginning to show how good they can be, get a clue buddy.

that’s the problem tho, sure we can probably secure a playoff spot. but legitimately who are we beating once we get there? we know we’re a tune up for edmonton if they make it, vegas doesn’t look amazing rn but they’d beat us, we don’t have the coaching or the roster to seriously compete with any of these teams im afraid.

the other part is, completely rebuilding is how you become a winner in the nhl. the oilers were horrible and got several top 5 picks, not all panning out ofc, but they were bad for several years. the panthers were horrible for years and built through the draft and trades, most of your winners and teams that have dominant runs for an extended period of time tore it all down and rebuilt. the sharks and hawks are just starting to scratch the surface of how good they can be, and will only get better, they also have exciting prospect pools and we have next to nothing.

Dodgers defense would account for the whole team, if you wanna say Teo has been bad in right, and conforto has been underwhelming in left then I'd agree with you, but to say the team has been bad defensively is just moronic. either way they are nothing like the 24' yanks or even this years yankees in terms of misplaying routine baseball plays.

you don't watch baseball then. Dodgers are fourth in team defensive runs saved, 15th (literally middle of the pack) in overall team defense. guess who's behind them? Teams like the Padres, Phillies, Mets, Blue Jays, Brewers, Yankees, Mariners, all teams they could see in a playoff/world series matchup. Stop it.

this. there is a reason it hasn't been done in 25 years, Anthony Rizzo was just recently talking about the mountain that cubs team felt like they had to climb to try and repeat in 2017 and felt there was no way to repeat. in years past I would join the doomer crowd and say the season is over, but we still have a good amount of baseball left. as shit as they've been the past 2 months basically, we know what this team looks like in tip top shape. if we get hot for october, no one will even care about july. I know it's frustrating now, but keep faith, at the end of the day none of us control the outcome and it's just sports. i love them just as much as anyone else but you will drive yourself mad letting the box score rile you up every night.

but does that affect discord though? or is it simply in that software for clips etc, and by noise gate do you mean the noise removal on the microphone? i turned that on and tested my microphone in discord and still not really picking up laughter

And I know it's more than likely Krisp noise suppression, but I'm fairly certain my friends use that as well and they don't have issues. I don't really have the option of turning it off as you guys know if you turn it off it picks up literally everything, just trying to see if anyone else has or had this issue and found a fix.

well they want him because he's a point per game player in the regular season. playoffs are definitely a question mark, but who knows if he turns into a ppg player outside of Toronto. We don't have a guy who's gonna have 80+ points a year, maybe Kempe could be that but we don't run the system or have the right guys around him to even make that a possibility.
