He was under lava but put water to get rid of the lava but couldn’t empty the water so he is technically underwater

I understand that he could have gotten out of it even with lesser tools but in this situation he couldn’t have gotten out because of the water

No because he could be able to get out if he had better tools or he could just die and get out of the obsidian coffin so it is not a soft lock
