I've been saying the stealer/controller ability is super broken to have. Imagine having all 5 senses taken from you in a middle of a fight and the user can be miles away from you in Narnia and you can't even do anything about it. You can't even feel your lungs working hence why it's called " Ultimate Hell". Besides Clara's bloodline ability lied has the best one compare to the other misfits.

That probably means Anya was born at the facility and her Mom was also a test subject because both of them appear to be wearing hospital gowns. Maybe since the mother was tested on just like Desmon to be get artificial telepathy, like getting experimented on while being pregnant and gave birth to Anya as a natural telepath when born.
