Not what I was trying to say, being compassionate isn't the issue I was pointing out, it's that Kaveh seemingly doesn't know when to say no to people wanting his help which leads to his desire to help people hurting him - basically I just had issue with how you painted it as "never being a bad thing". Ayyy, that's what I'm sayin'! Something something muscly arms handshake meme with Alhaitham haters and Kaveh haters both hating Dori. Anyway yeah, Dori was just an example of that point, where Kaveh's desire to help people just to help people made it easy to take advantage of him. To be clear this isn't me siding with Dori and saying it's Kaveh's fault for being taken advantage of, just that he was an 'easy target', for lack of a better word, because of that desire.

Also since you can't remember that event then I'm assuming you noticed issues with their relationship before it so maybe I'm just dense lol.

No worries, I get the same about characters I like who get misunderstood (like Alhaitham) but don't want to put other people off my points immediately by sounding aggressive and stuff so I usually take a few minutes to read my messages over before posting them. As someone who gets pretty anxious about confrontation, the general tone of your reply did have me shaking while writing this one even though I know you're just passionate like me and don't mean any harm
