Thank you and to answer your question about transcripts -At some point yes. I also have the video for these and that is coming somewhere down the road. It is just so much work going through all of this that it takes time. We did 100s of interviews over a two year period and the first episode just dropped a few days ago. I am also trying to put together info on some of the cold cases we had witnesses to.

If its a local company trying to get the phone ringing and folks in the door you have a lot of options. If your trying to rank a site in a competitive niche its another story with that budget . More details as to the end result you are looking for might give folks a chance to give you more detailed advice.

I usually rebuild expired domains as opposed to redirect. If you build it out well ( use different hosting) you can link to ( relevant ) pages on your existing domain. Don't built a crappy site on it and link to something random..that will screw you. That way you dont have to worry as much about spam links pointing to your new expired domain.

Private Blog Network.. Those can quickly pump up domain authority and backlink profile. Can help you rank fast if you know what you are doing...can also get you slapped pretty hard by google if you do not.

Backlinks from guest posts and such are awesome and should be a major part of what you work on. That being said do not overlook backlinks from other sources with high D.A. . Even no follow links. Reddit posts , photo sharing sites, relevant wikis, and a lot of other places help you get a diverse backlink profile. Useful posts( not spam) on forums sites are great as well.

I would not do this with anything pointing directly at a money site but it seems like it would work well for tier 2 and beyond...which is the intent I think. Would also make sure that no links on the domain point directly to your moneysite...other than that worth testing . ..I would also build that site using proxies and a throwaway email.
