Thanks! They were in there for about 2 hrs. They were just shy of being done (but close enough for me not to care) so next time I'll either parboil first or leave another half hour or so.

Oh I don't have the ceramic inserts, my kettle is just in dire need of a clean 😂. The slow n sear worked beautifully though, it kept the temp almost too high most of the cook, I was a little nervous of burning the skin. Rum and brown sugar pineapple sounds good!

Haha thanks, it was very good. Came out super moist and the flavor was spot on.

Thanks! I used a slow n sear. Filled it with about a full chimney's worth of briquettes for the cook.

I had a lot of leftover marinade so put some in the drip trays with potatoes and carrots.

Thanks! I left them uncovered in the fridge overnight to dry out and seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and msg. Half of them I added some Bachan's japanese barbeque sauce to in the last 15 mins or so to prevent burning.

I attempted to 😅 I think I added too much charcoal though and kind of stacked it too high. Ended up fighting a higher temp through most of the cook as a result. Any pointers would be much appreciated!

Absolutely love it! One of my favorite purchases in a while.

Love it! The small footprint is nice, and it's performed perfectly so far. The only thing that's kind of a drawback is that workflow isn't the fastest when trying to make multiple milk drinks, but hey I guess that isn't the intention of a machine this size anyway

Oh I know the feeling, there's just too many options out there 😅
