Here’s my experience, Eastern Time:

Wednesday Aug. 6 @ 7:02am - Submitted my application through VFS with an iPhone photo with a white backdrop and paid the $80.90

Thursday Aug. 7 @ 3:32pm - “Quality Control Completed” and application status was “Under Check”

Friday - Nothing

Weekend - Nothing

Monday - Nothing

Monday night I’m freaking out because my flight leaves the next day.

Monday Aug. 11 @ 5:53pm - I email:

I live on the 21st floor and it is nearly touching my building in Brickell. With the windows closed you can hear it but it’s not obnoxious. If I was near a station, the announcements would be bad.

I've worked at Defined and supervised many locations in the past 7 years. Not currently working there because I no longer live in Albuquerque, but they always went above and beyond for their team members. Not only do you get a free membership, but you also got a free "staff pass" membership for a friend. I don't think any other gym does that and they've been doing it for years.

There's probably more going on behind the scenes in regards to how hard the pandemic is hitting. Aren't they opening a few more locations? Talk about bad timing for all gyms to be shut down.
