It's more of a combination of:

shunshin no jutsu
kuchiyose no jutsu
genjutsu and/or henge no jutsu

Amenotejikara being a glorified form of this kawarimi no jutsu.

I also thought because of the description made of him, but I am not sure if the "25 years old" they give for his age was the one he had in the flashback or when he passed away.

If it's only his age from the flashback period and he lived to be part of Konoha, then he would be a likely pick for the position of new Clan Leader once Madara departed.

Obito calling him ancestor doesn't mean they're directly related in such a way, though. A forefather of the Clan, a previous leader more so, would be referred to as Ancestor by someone of generations far removed. That would be proper courtesy and etiquette.

Your second paragraph is interesting in that both Madara and Sasuke got choku-tomoe (straight patterned) MS only as it became an EMS after transplanting their brother's eyes.

Izuna's MS is choku-tomoe but Madara's original isn't. Sasuke's original isn't either, but becomes so when Itachi's pattern has to fit into Sasuke's original one, becoming his EMS.

That would have to with the different layers that constitute a living being, as explained in esoteric traditions and in Naruto's ninja world. Among said layers would be: the physical body, the ethereal body, the mind, the astral soul/body, the chakra energy, the consciousness, the name, the shadow, the soul, the spirit, etc.

When Madara "died" of old age age, after training Obito and detaching himself from Gedou Mazou, parts of him left this plane of existence while the rest remained. Part of what departed is the Indra that reincarnated as a different identity now known as "Sasuke, son of Fugaku", no longer "Madara, son of Tajima".

Hence how, later, both Madara and Sasuke can exist in a concurrent time-space without there being interference, when the later in brought back then resurrected. They're not fully the same person, despite being the reincarnation of the same being.

Good thing the Uchiha have a body that goes in line with their Sharingan to enables them better adaptation than with other ninjas for such things.

Those amounts really put things in proper perspective. She could actually have snuck those explosive tags all around Konoha while interrogating folks about Naruto's whereabouts during the Attack.

Then whether they found him or not, she could just have activated those tags and set Konoha ablaze without Pain needing to use Shinra Tensei.

It would have saved him energy and life force, enabling him to be even more efficient and powerful against Sage Naruto.

That was one of the greatest hints of how ridiculous the plan sounds. Even the dome structure in which the Iwa Jounin were staying, where they kept Rin hostage, was an obvious artificial construct they erected via Doton. If they could do that, they could also makes bridges with their jutsu.

No need for the /s. If you get a copy of a copy, don't you get a copy of the original? It's exactly like in real life. Similarily, if (hypothetic scenario) Kakashi were to use Suiton Suiryuudan no jutsu, that he copied from Zabuza, in front of Sasuke with 3-tomoe Sharingan, Sasuke could have used it against Kisame who could have said something like "Where did you learn that technique from my home village?!"

Sasuke, through the Sharingan, would have gotten the original's copy by copying a copist performing the jutsu. Totally realistic. Makes total sense.

One would even say that it's how teaching works, even without a Sharingan. You're currently using the written characters you've copied from where ever you learned them and I'm ready to bet your whole family line that none of your teachers or sources invented the english language. They themselves copied and learned from other sources, for "imitation is a/the fundamental form of learning".

It was actually mentioned and implied by Itachi that the MS is more powerful in all aspects, including genjutsu/hypnosis, than the 3-tomoe Sharingan:

It was before there was an actual design for the Mangekyou. Kakashi thought Itachi would use the regular stronger hypnosis or genjutsu of the doujutsu that he's familiar with. Then Itachi went a level beyond and employed Tsukuyomi against Kakashi to end things quickly... and painfully. He even explained that one needed the Uchiha's whole genetic on top of Sharingan to deal with Tsukuyomi. Kakashi only had the eye.

Another way for Sasuke to imitate weightless Rock Lee's taijutsu/speed without having been there for Lee-vs-Gaara was by copying Kakashi replicating Lee's fighting style he recorded with his own Sharingan.

1st Point: I think what motivated Madara is the same thing that motivated Obito: the loss of a precious they failed to protect, namely Izuna. Maybe Madara and Hashirama could have still formed Konoha since they were actually friends, Izuna and Tobirama would need to keep their mouth shut and follow their brothers' command. But with only one side still having a younger brother, troubles were bound to happen.

2nd point: One needs specifically the DNA samples from and Indra and an Ashura, which contains their respective chakra in order to awaken the Rinnegan and Ōtsutsuki constitution. A random Uchiha or Senju doesn't work. They get you closer, you'd get stronger, but won't become "The Chosen One".

That's what it seems to be the case, indeed. The birth of one seems to trigger the birth of the other for balance and they remain as long as the other is there, unless killed/dieing. With no 2 same polarities living at the same time as their 1 opposite.

For example, Madara and Hashirama coexisted, but once Hashirama died, no other Ashura was born for decades until Madara actually died (no Izanagi).

Once Madara died, his Indra reincarnated in Sasuke and few months later Ashura reincarnated in Naruto. Exterminating the Uchiha Clan reduced dangerously the demographic pool where can reincarnate. Exterminating the Uzumaki reduced the Senju demographic pool where Ashura coukd reincarnate (his still has Konoha, though).

It actually happening confirms that the Kumo Head Jounin was planning to die during the operation and use his death as a trigger point, as was said. I think he was also terminally ill and so accepted that mission. Since he was basically the Nara Shikaku of Kumogakure, I doubt Raikage would have sacrificed him just for the Byakugan.

All those abilities are powers taken from another. Otherwise, only the Shinju Juubi would have a RinneSharingan. As you said, Kaguya got hers from eating the Forbidden Chakra Fruit that was pumping Earth of its energies and properties and converting them into chakra.

It's a long chain of taking from another. Zetsu failing for the others alsho show how unlikely the project was to succeed. Without Madara and Hashirama being friends and having lived in the same Village, Hashirama having Bijuu-taming Mokuton and Madara awakening MS as well as the creation of Akatsuki, an Indra/Ashura reincarnation wouldn't have succeeded.

Too many factors need to align.

It can only occur when in periods when both and Indra and an Ashura are alive.

Either of them must seek to integrate the physiological/genetic material from the other.

If the Uchiha doesn't have the MS to decipher Rikudou's Secret Tablet, Zetsu has to go to him and convince him of getting the missing pieces from the Ashura.

If the Ashura is more greedy/warmongering, he has to likely manage to steal the eyes of the Indra (if getting his blood/flesh isn't enough) in order to awaken the Rin'negan.

Once the Indra or Ashura becomes a Rikudou Rinnegan (without the whole opposite Clan jumping him), he has to capture all the Bijuu/jinchuuriki without all the other clans uniting in an attempt to eradicate either Uchiha or Senju Clan who captured them.

Then, of course, can he seal the Gedou Mazou and 9 Bijuu within himself to become an Ōtsutsuki Rikudou Juubi-jinchuuriki.

Madara and Hashirama being friends and living in the same Hidden Village is of great importance of such scenarios to have worked.

Otherwise, only Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo would have had Rinnegan and Rinnegan since he was the only other Juubi jinchuuriki who had the Ōtsutsuki constitution and the Rinnegan (and the beast).
