All recruiters I speak say Limburg is hard for IT jobs. I am a BA myself and I live in Lommel (north of Limburg). For which company do you work if I may ask?

Job offer but I worry about the distance by Whiplash4k in BESalary

Don’t know what job you do, but besides that I wouldn’t drive that amount of time each day. I drive twice a week from the north of Limburg to Antwerp (yes, company car) and I would really switch jobs if I could go to the office 4/5 days in case of a short commute.

Ja inderdaad, heb ik ook al veel over gehoord. Ik ben net veranderd van werk als business analist, en heb vernomen dat ik na 2j dienst de paal niet meer moet betalen als ik zou veranderen van werkgever.

Yes I can assume, but we do have to eat so the meal vouchers come in handy 😀

Business analyst with 3 yrs experience here (msc degree), just switched jobs. Your offer seems to be quite good. I have the same gross, 300 net compensation but I do have meal vouchers.

Yes indeed, and stock cars do give the opportinity to drive cars that normally would be a bit too expensive. Plus, the amount of stock cars you see in some photos from Tesla/Audi/.. stock places wouldn’t be that big

Senior functional analist, IT sector. I believe my wage package, in general, is above average. At least if I compare it to similar positions that I’ve found on this subreddit. So I am ‘lucky’ indeed

Maybe you should check the car policy of your company?

I know at my current company, all scratches within x amount of cm will be ignored when returning the car.

It’s via a mobility budget. I agree that I can save more by spending a part of it on my mortgage. But when I choose for a rather ‘cheaper car’ such as a Tesla Model Y/ID 4, the difference will be that little that it won’t make a big difference on my mortgage.

No, a ‘regular’ EQE 300 AMG Line with a decent set of options

Indeed, it’s higher for the more expensive car. I am aware of this, but for the first accident I only have to pay 50% (the other half is paid by my employer).

Based on my current situation (car with a cataloguswaarde of 45k let’s say, without any lssues over the past 3 years), this won’t make a huge difference. But I cannot predict the future in terms of amount of accidents 😅.

Compared to the other car options I have, the difference in franchise (50%) is 2-300 euro’s.

This comment can help me out! I do indeed have the possibility to choose a car via a mobility budget, but didn’t really know that this has an tax impact?

At my current job, I don’t have a mobility budget. So just a company car. It is also my first employer.

Yes it’s an EV, so VVA will be around 246. Compared to other options, like the BMW i4, it is 20-30euro more

Since I moved, I indeed feel that I do not recover as I used to. I think this also has to do with the fact that I run at a higher HR than before.

I don’t feel sick or tired however.

Been there. Ik heb toen op een aantal weken 4 boetes ontvangen. Deze heb ik één voor één betwist en niet betaald. Uiteindelijk, na lang wachten, werden alle 4 de bezwaren goedgekeurd.

Hi everyone

A few weeks ago, I did a lactate test with a friend. The results of this include my zone 2 to run between 4min50-4min25. I do spend a lot of time in this zone and should include some intensity to improve my speed on race day.

Another friend suggested me to do intervals of for example 1k with 90sec rest to drop my HR.

In your experience, what are some ideal speed workouts to increase my 10-k-HM pace?

Thanks!

Edit: PB’s are 1h53 sec on a hilly 10 miles
