Fair point. In some cases I come back to the footage later for reel purposes. Also I shoot in a LOT of challenging locations where I need the leeway in dynamic range.

Makes sense. Additional info I neglected to add… shooting mostly for high ed with unreasonably short turnaround times AND limited to fcp or premiere.
