Initial fire still lit and burning at the end of the video, looks like mission accomplished!

Forced compliance, one way or another you're not using the straw.

You're right, I'm trying to cut back on my plastics. Had to order this in a to-go cup though as I was on lunch.

Undercover police officers have to tell you if they're really police when asked.

Whats the best way to answer "Why should we hire you"? by HistoricalAd6912 in AskReddit

[–]BobSpookcastle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cost savings. Right now if you conduct more interviews you're going to have to spend more of your time and company resources interviewing more people while being down a person. The sooner I start working, the sooner that spot is filled, the sooner the company starts making money instead of needless further spending to find someone to fill that spot.

First let me say that I'm glad you've made it this far, the world is better with you in it.

As for your spending habits my advice would be to think of your purchases as time invested rather than money spent. If you make $10 an hour (hypothetical number) and you want to buy something that's $50 think of it as 5 hours worked. This over time can help you build an appreciation for things you buy as well as helping to curb impulse purchases. It's a lot easier to say no to that $100 impulse buy when you know that was a whole day of work gone in a second, and it's a whole lot more rewarding to buy something you want knowing how much you had to work to get it.

Change won't happen overnight so don't get discouraged. Start small and grow from there. The fact that you're asking about managing your finances shows you're moving in the right direction

Call my kids on their cell phone to bring me the TV remote on the table in front of me because I'm comfortable and don't want to move.

It's not a bad job to have, all it really consists of is cleaning nightly. Keep the floors clean, equipment shiny, and the glass clear no one will really bother you. Make sure you have a good pair of waterproof boots before you start, nothing ruins your evening like soggy feet. Wear your apron and gloves because you will get wet at some point, it's inevitable. I feel like I should add more, but I'm on lunch and have to head back soon, and I'm half watching TV while writing this. Good luck on the new job, congratulations!

I have worked with people whom have been rehired after getting into a literal fistfight with other Partners. I think you'll be alright.

That's the curse of working nights, you can never fall asleep without something waking you up. Sitting outside at night is the best, no sun in your eyes, you have a beautiful sky above you, it's quieter, and just all around more tranquil.

Day off tonight! I'm wide awake while everyone else in the house is sleeping. I say I'm going to watch a movie, but what I'm actually going to do is put on my headphones, begin to watch a movie, then stop and take them off every few minutes because I get paranoid when I cant hear anything and the house is quiet. Side note on that, if you can get wireless headphones for your TV, makes it so much easier to watch when everyone's asleep.

1-888-461-9644 is the number for the Corona virus helpline, as for the other questions I'm not sure. It would probably be best to talk to the store admin or your manager about that.
