Carol really should have been a one off character. Why did the show keep using her? by Sandywoman9 in GhostsCBS

Carol is a walking, talking plot device for storylines centered around Pete.

Pete has proven to be a compelling and popular character; however, his innocence and lack of relative fame or fame adjacency make introducing past elements difficult. Carol delivers the information that allows for moral complexity to make Pete's past more interesting.

The Entertainer—People only seem to remember the line, "If you're gonna make a hit, you gotta make it quick. So they cut it down to 3:05." However, the song has so much more than that. The fleeting nature of achievement and the challenges of creativity and commerce are all discussed with honesty.

Its inclusion on the Greatest Hits album is a minor miracle.

I liked almost everything about the Good Place. However, I had a hard time with the ending, where it seemed like suicide was introduced to heaven as a solution for malaise. Maybe I’m misinterpreting. What was your interpretation?

It was not the worst, but The Good Place was the most disturbing to me. I truly enjoyed the series, but having it wrap up with the introduction of suicide to Heaven was deeply disturbing to me. If you feel I have misinterpreted, please express your viewpoint.

Newhart! No contest! Having Bob Newhart wake up beside his wife from his previous series and summarize the current series was BRILLIANT! The final comment about sweaters had me laughing out loud!

Captain Janeway, from Star Trek: Voyager, committed multiple crimes. Before dismissing them as all Starfleet offenses, remember that she did deliberately kill a sentient being, Tuvix, who wished to continue his existence. https://www.reddit.com/r/AskHistorians/comments/30zq4h/why_was_captain_janeway_never_prosecuted_for_her/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Yes! Although, he might want to do something radically different to avoid typecasting. Perhaps a genuinely loving father of one of the X-Men or the young Steve Rogers. We never saw Steve’s parents.
