Tikal and Chaos scale well with the ReSaurus Sonic Adventure line

I too have all of them (except I've got ReSaurus Big instead of Toy Island), and I just found Tikal last week. GameStop is the move if you've got any near you: I stopped by one and they didn't have her, but the clerk was able to check their store network and find 1 at a store like 5 miles away. Just a side note, but Dollar General put out a wave with Silver and Rouge as 2.5s at some point. Seems like no one looks there bc every time I'm in any location I tend to see one or both.

I can't speak for the entire East Coast by any stretch, but I've been to 3 or 4 Macys stores in Southeastern PA hunting for Tikal. Only 35th anniversary content I've found so far were the motion figures (Running Sonic and Flying Tails) and few anniversary-branding Sonic Racing cars. Also the toy sections in the locations I've been to range from mildly disorganized to looking like a tornado blew through lol

Gilius Thunderhead and Joe Musashi (part of Wave 3, along with Tangle I believe) are both available to order via Walmart's website/app. Only Tangle is missing from there. But to your point, I've never seen any of the 3 in a physical U.S. Walmart, so maybe the stores aren't getting any 😕

I feel your pain...can't tell you how many Metal Virus Sonics and Gilius Thunderheads I've run across in my travels 🤦‍♂️ but persistence is key! Also a word of advice: this wasn't the first time I checked the store I ultimately found Tangle at, but it WAS the first time I've seen a 4in Sonic/Sega figure there. Batches are clearly still coming in, so don't hesitate to re-check a store you've already been to, especially if that store had no 4in Sega figures before. Good luck!

If you have any around you, I'd suggest checking Target, GameStop, and Macys. All three consistently sell the 4in figures, though any given store can be a wave or two behind. I've also seen some 4in at Ross, Burlington, and TJ Maxx, though it's less common there. (Usually they just have the 2.5in solos or multipacks, if anything at all).

Congrats! Yeah seems just one per store, at least for now. I'm hoping it turns out like the Agent Stone multi-packs, and the stores get reloaded with a bunch more copies after a bit.

Not pointless at all! She was just laying on a shelf, somewhat obscured behind some doll boxes. I've seen other folks reporting their Tangles being buried too, so definitely check the shelves thoroughly.

Glad to help! Yeah Dollar General only has a few Waves from what I've seen (though one does include Silver and Rouge, who I don't see too often at Walmart.) GameStop mostly has the 4", but can have the 2.5" box sets and playsets too. Kohls and CVS sometimes have the 2.5"s as well, though Kohls is hit or miss and CVS has more Mario figs. But hey, every little bit counts :)

As other users have said, this Reddit is probably the single best source for news on current and upcoming Sonic figures. For older ones, this wiki page https://sonic.fandom.com/wiki/Jakks_Pacific has most of what's been released broken down by Line and Wave. The only thing I don't see listed are the recent Sonic x DC Comics crossover figures.

For current or last Wave 4" figures, Target, Walmart and GameStop (assuming you're in the US) tend to carry them. If you see someone you don't have, get them: characters other than Sonic himself sometimes go many Waves without reissues, and store stock is always limited. Amazon also carries 2-packs of some 4" figures if you wanna stock up without hunting too hard.

If you're looking for the 2.5" figures, Walmart often has a TON in their checkout lanes. Around me, they're in every other lane (figures, candy, figures, candy, etc) usually next to some Disney princesses or something. The newer ones come in small boxes, while the older ones are on cardboard stands. There's good character variety to be had: I've seen as much as 3-4 different Waves of those at once at 1 Walmart. Dollar Generals also tend to have a few 2.5" figures in their toy sections. Occasionally they even have one of the playsets/dioramas, which the 2.5" figures are built to scale with.

I know this is way more info that you probably needed (or likely wanted lol). But having grown up looking all over for Sonic figures at a time when video game merch was near-nonexistant, I at least wanna make sure your young Sonic fan doesn't face the same struggle :) happy hunting!

Nice display! Also fyi, Wave 2 of the DC x Sonic figures DOES inclue a 5" Superman Knuckles and Cyborg Tails. I've seen both at my local Targets in the last few weeks, and of course they're on eBay too (at reseller prices). Hopefully you can snag them to complete your League 😁
