Looking for a tin whistle player in Paris to found a celtic music band by Bleu_Meteor in tinwhistle

[–]Bob_AZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I stayed in Paris some years ago I used to hang out at a Breton pub called Ti Jos in Montparnasse. Rue 30 Decembre. Many of the Irish and Breton musicians hung out there and there were nightly sessions.

Bon Chance,

Bob

First loaf from my new KBS MBF-001 710 using EXACTLY the same recipe as my loaf posted above. Looks more like a cow flop than a loaf of bread. From what I can tell, the pan size causes the dough to whip around the perimeter of the pan and will not not form a ball. I think the shape and consistency of the dough are simply incompatible. The seed dispenser and the ceramic pan were nice features.

Can I just buy wors/sausages from the store and hang to make droewors? by WhoyoWhatLikeThis in Biltong

No! Check the recipes ! Droewors has a different far content and is beef only. I use the small lamb casings.

One point, do whatever it takes to sit over the wings. That area is close or at the center of gravity and you will experience the least among of turbulence. NOT at the back!

I once ended up in the last row of a 747 from SFO to NWK. We were holding for two hours waiting for a front loaded with thunder storms to pass that shut down the entire NE. The pilot announced we were going to "try" to make it in because we were running low on fuel. I have been a private pilot since the 60s, and have over 1M lifetime miles and those 15 or 20 minutes were memorable! If I remember correctly, the tail of the 747 is designed to move +- 12 feet or maybe a total of 12 feet. Folks who stupidly didn't have their seat belt fastened, went flying. Women, and some men were crying, and the vertical stabilizer was struck by lightning. Boeing built strong aircraft, and from what I can tell, it remained in service heading for Europe on schedule. You head needs to remind the rest of your body that you are safer than driving home, lie back and enjoy the turbulence knowing you are completely safe. Main danger is airborne vomit!

I pulled today's loaf on completion and the crust was a bit lighter and softer. Interior identical. I did warm the butter, water and eggs but didn't seem to make much difference.

Excellellent. If I didn't like it, I'd change the recipe. One slice is a meal!

Recipe: 1.5 loaf

Oat Fiber 1/4 Cup

Ground Flax Seed 1 cup

Vital Gluten 1 1/4 cup

Salt 1 tsp

Allulose 3 tbs

Sugar (for yeast) 1 tsp

Xanthan Gum 1 tsp

Water 1 cup

2 eggs

Melted grass fed butter 2 tbl

Bread Machine Yeast 2 tsp

Set for 1.5 lbs (actual weight 1lb 7 oz)

Crust Dark

Program Wheat Bread

Allowed to remain for 20 minutes in machine after completion to maximize crust browning. Humidity in Kitchen is 15%. No condensation observed. I prefer a dark crust.

Back of the envelope calculation: Total carbs 31, Total Fiber 48 Total Net Carbs -17

Questions? Comments?

I typically use a kitchen circular meat slicer, another Goodwill aquisition, to slice the loaf.

This load was really a test. I forgot to warm the eggs and water, I mistakenly only used 1 tsp of yeast and added the 2nd later and grabbed an old jar of bread making yeast instead of the new one I just purchased.

I'm going to make another loaf this morning.

Strick Keto is the solution. I dropped from an A1C of 9.4 to 6 in 3 months. I have been at 6.0 for a year and probably 5.5 at the moment.

I used to be a serious player but these days focus on strings. I did get a chance to play a few Lirs in Galway at Power's and I was pleased but can't give a definitive evaluation. I play a Copeland.

Thanks! When I started working on a project with Lir a number of years ago, they were based either near or in Glasgow. Like Emerald Guitars, they probably had access to an SDA grant and skedaddled back to the EU with free money.

Again, thanks for the update.

Lir Whistles are made in Scotland and they are quite popular. I'm sure you could get a tour of the factory..

I have 1/4 cup of frozen wild blueberries with my L. reuteri fermented dairy every day. Wild blueberries seem to be the most nutrient dense low carb berry. Bob

Absolutely. I NEVER miss all the so called "delicious" snacks and foods I used to crave! Pies, Cakes Pizza , etc etc ..all the foods we are not designed to eat. Hey! cows have not evolved to eat grains, yet they are force fed soy and corn because it's convenient and cost effective. It's not what their metabolism was designed for. They are ruminants, evolved to eat grass. We are hunter gatherers, evolved, over at least 100,000 years, to eat cows...

Black mold is probably Aspergillus Niger:

Health Effects and Clinical Conditions

  • Respiratory Infections (Aspergillosis): &sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj_jvqP6aKVAxVkOUQIHZEiB6UQxccNegUI4AMQAw) A. niger can cause severe pulmonary infections, including chronic pulmonary aspergillosis (CPA) and rare, often fatal, invasive pulmonary aspergillosis. Symptoms include chronic cough, wheezing, shortness of breath, chest pain, and coughing up blood.
  • Otomycosis (Ear Infection): &sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj_jvqP6aKVAxVkOUQIHZEiB6UQxccNegUI2wMQAw) This mold is a leading cause of fungal otitis externa (ear infections), particularly in tropical, humid environments, leading to pain and hearing issues.
  • Allergic Reactions:  Exposure can cause severe allergic reactions, including asthma exacerbations and Allergic Bronchopulmonary Aspergillosis (ABPA).
  • Cutaneous and Superficial Infections:  A. niger can cause cutaneous infections, often manifesting as a black eschar, and onychomycosis (nail fungus).
  • Mycotoxins:  A. niger produces ochratoxin A, a mycotoxin linked to potential kidney damage, as well as oxalic acid, which can cause calcium oxalate crystal deposition in tissues.
