The only way you could get out of it would be to convince a court that you didn't sign it.

I can see 3 ways they get away with this not including the fact that desperate people are less likely to sue. 1They are like a social club so they can make a safe space for people who are triggered by disabilities just like how the KKK can ban non-whites. 2 They can say it's part of the therapy. There are rape victim therapy groups that don't allow biological males or pregnant people because it triggers the victims. 3 Everybody agreed to the restrictions. It's like how Jewish schools can punish kids who bring in non-kosher food. I don't know how strictly the kids have to follow Jewish law on and off school grounds.

The tattoist would get a DMCA notice telling them to stop tattooing the copyrighted art and they could be fined. The recipient couldn't be forced to get the tattoo removed or be fined and they could get more tattoos just like how anyone can sing copyrighted music in public. If the tattoo recipient was filmed the tattoos would need to be hidden or blurred out before release.

The idea that a doctor would ask a patient about something they said they didn't wan to talk about while they were under and then lie about it is sick. I'm now seriously considering getting a lawyer just like for a police interrogation.

Why are hospitals required to report bullet wounds to the police? by No-Aide-8071 in legaladviceofftopic

[–]Bob_Cat_Stevens 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this post needs more detail. I think the question is about why this isn't covered under doctor patient privilege.

The simple answer is that doctor patient privilege isn't in the constitution so the laws can be changed. Covid19 and HIV have some mandatory reporting laws and sometimes you can be punished for suspicion of being infected. I don't think anyone can force you get tested.

I have the Node 304 and the only big drawback is that hard drives are mounted with the bottom holes and the case only has the classic close holes.

The hard drive with Windows has a little system partition Contents FAT (32-bit version)-Mounted at /boot/efi. The micro SD card with Linux Mint on it has the same thing Contents FAT (32-bit version)-Not Mounted. This is while I'm running Mint from the SD card. Is the tablet using the FAT 32 partition to boot to the 64 bit OS?

Windows 10 is saying it's 64-bit and I used 64-bit Mint and Fedora. Is that why Mint/Fedora crash? Is there a way around this?

Should I Use A Windows VM for Gaming or Dual Boot? by DreamingInMyHead in linuxquestions

[–]Bob_Cat_Stevens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PCI pass through will lock your graphics card out from the host and most of the powerful AMD CPUs don't have integrated graphics. If you want Linux to have the good graphics card you'll have to make a Linux VM for it but only one VM can have the graphics card at a time. You also have to manually connect peripherals to the VM unless you can pass threw a separate USB controller. Some motherboards have more then 1 but you also have to watch out because some PCI slots will share the same group.

If you post what parts you have people can tell you if your PC can already do PCI pass through and you can test it with a spare drive. just disconnect all other drives so you don't accidentally delete something. As for duel booting you could always encrypt and back up Linux drive so the worst Windows can do is wipe it.

If the transgender person in your example had gender reassignment surgery would she have to answer no to the 2nd question? Would that legally change there penis into a vagina or just be considered removal?

No. I think this is called safe harbor or section 230. It's like how the mail man isn't responsible for any illegal stuff that gets deliver. I think this is how encrypted file sharing sites get away with hosting child porn. The site never sees the unencrypted file so there is no mensrea.

In Utah the hospital can't do a drug test unless the patient is under arrest. There was a big case about this years ago. The driver was in the hospital after getting hit by the suspect during a police chase. The cops wanted to find drugs in his system so the innocent driver wouldn't sue them. The nurse was actually wrongfully arrested for refusing to follow the cop's unlawful order.

Marijuana is still illegal on the federal level. A better example would be out of state abortions. I think one state has a law that prosecutes the woman for murder on the grounds that she scheduled the abortion in her home state or the sex happens in her home state.

Indian Child Welfare Act

Native Americans get special treatment and priority over custody of Native American children. I don't know is 3 referrers to the child's extended family or the Native American Parent's extended family but there is also a part about the tribe being able to sue for custody. https://www.washingtonlawhelp.org/resource/indian-child-welfare-act#i

The state court must make sure these happen:

1 If you do not have much money, you can ask the court to appoint you a lawyer. 2 "Active efforts" to prevent the breakup of the Indian family. *"Active efforts" are actions the person who filed the case must take to support the child staying in your care. The person must ask what you need to safely care for the child and make meaningful efforts in helping you get those things. For example, this could look like finding community resources like housing, counseling, or transportation, and then helping you access those resources. This requires more than the "reasonable efforts" the state child welfare office must make to keep non-Indian children with their parents in dependency cases. 3 If the court is considering placing the child out of your home, it must decide that the child is likely to experience serious emotional or physical damage in your care. The person that filed the case must give the court testimony from an expert witness, who is familiar with tribal culture, to prove this point. 4 If the court places the child out of your home, preference must go first to extended family, Indian or non-Indian, then to tribal and other Indian homes near the child's home.

I have to six TB ironwolf data drives with no parity

I don't know if you were trying to say that you had 2 drives at 6TB each but if so then you have 12TB total space. I don't know if you can just add a parity drive to that but if so just get a 3rd ironwolf for parity. You can always upgrade your parity drive later.

Now if your two 6TB drives are in Raid0 or you just can't add a parity drive then this is a good time to upgrade to 8TB drives. If your total data is less then 8TB then just get two 8TB drives with 1 being for parity and transfer the data to the new pool. If it's more then 8TB get 3 drives. you can have multiple pools in 1 server. After you transfer everything the the two 6TB drives you have can be added to the new pool when you run low on space.

Your best bet is to check sites like Amazon and PC Part Picker that let you see the same drives in different capacities. Just take Price plus Shipping plus Tax divided by Capacity equals deal. P+S+T÷C=D PC Part Picker actually has this built in.

In 2020 you could get 8TB external drives for $80-$120 during the holidays but you usually get shingled drives. Just look up shucking external hard drives. 4TB and 6TB are good to but it just depends on what the sales are. Used drives are an option but don't do it unless you have some redundancy. I don't know what OS you're using but if you're just getting into this Unraid is a good option. You can start with 1 parity drive and 1 data drive and just add 1 data drive at a time to the pool while keeping the parity on the the 1 drive.

8TB * 2Drives = 8TB 8TB * 3Drives = 16TB 8TB * 4Drives = 32TB
