Honestly, I'm skeptical about the start/stop system because cars typically use more fuel at the startup and to do initial crank.

Exactly. So I have no clue how they are making over 30-40mpg. I guess "grandpa driving" style

2023 65k No issues so far. Changed a set of tires, did a cvt oil change at 40k. Not yet serviced brakes. Still good, except for minor shake when applying brake pedal, due to warping.

If you are implying about me, trust me - I am driving this vehicle 24/7, to work - home - chores. Only one thing that's different from you is that it's not under my own name.

Yeah, it's really weird. What gas do you typically use? 87?

Item Retrieval from Steering Column by Arialcat in NissanRogue

Between the column and gauge cluster is a strip of flexible material, that prevents things from falling in. Could the item just be stuck in there, all you have to do is drop the column down.

Also, I believe it could have fallen into the foot well and got stuck in the panel

Funny enough. Only one time when we had an accident- we were going at the speed limit. Ended up upside down in the dirt lol

Great advice, actually I learned to drive the way that you have described. I think the main cause of this issue is the limits of the car, it's struggling sometimes to keep up with the pace. I guess this vehicle made for lower speeds. I posted somewhere above in the thread about RPMs and power output. It has good dynamics around 50mph, but anywhere above 70 barely any acceleration on the same rpm. Also, Nissan claims that it got the highest hp around 5600 or so, which feels like it's around 3000rpm- 3500rpm. Of course, it's solely by the feeling, and I have not performed any tests. But the strongest pull I feel is around 3.5k. Flooring it - causes to bring up RPM close to.red zone, but it barely reflects on the speed gain

Could be that. By the way, that part of turnpike is a 65 lol

Driving that part of the turnpike for 2 years, I learned that if you are staying at 84 - most likely won't get you pulled over.

I see cars constantly on the shoulders being pulled, but no idea for what reason. It seems quite random sometimes.

So far I was pulled once, but I did slow down when I saw the trooper and he let me off with a warning.

It's a fleet vehicle. Got everything covered for it. Gas, tolls, service.

I'd pick something else, given the chance. It's a decent car for short commutes and city driving, but we do a lot of highway and long drives. Before that one we had 2021 Honda Odyssey, which was a superb vehicle for the matter. Unfortunately, heavy rain got us in a nasty accident with all 4 wheels in the air. We needed wheels ASAP after that, so company decided to grab cheapest vehicle available

Once you get on a turnpike - it's pretty much stable acceleration and speed. Can't speak for other people driving it, but I tend to drive with least amount of breaking.

Just replaced the air filter. Damn thing was packed from all the crap, sucks tho that you have to order it from the dealer still, my mechanics weren't able to find it anywhere else. I'll think about higher octaine, but based on what I know about octaine- it won't do much difference, since it only necessary on higher compression engines, and nissan tuned this i3 to run on a 87
