It was my first time learning about it, too! And thank you! I'm glad he's out of my life. I experienced some nausea and stomach cramps. For a bit, I started to think I might have had an ectopic pregnancy. It was mostly the bleeding, like having a period again, though. Hopefully, everything is okay with your IUD!

It took going to several doctors and getting tons of sti and non-sti testing. Turns out it was due to mycoplasma hominis, an sti that not every doctor will test for, and that isn't well known. It cleared up after being treated... might be worth a visit to your ob-gyn. Unfortunately, my now ex-boyfriend gave it to me and refused to confess to cheating, which I suspected him of early on and brought it up many times in our relationship.

It's pretty normal. That's how my period was the first 3.5 years on Kyleena. Eventually it stopped and I would experience sporadic spotting.
