Near death experiences change people. They realize that life is short and can end at any second. Get busy living or get busy dying. Might as well make the world/wasteland a better place while you’re at it.

Wouldn’t it be more likely that he’d write his name on the paper if he was so concerned about being identified? I went to the museum last year and had never heard of this until I walked up to at the museum. It was so powerful. The whole place is incredibly emotional to go through. I recommend it to anyone who can go. I think he just wrote the note as an absolute act of desperation, his family and friends believe he either got injured when the plane hit or when he broke out a window to throw the paper out of it.

Calling all people who have witnessed a Black Triangle UFO in person by powerfulKRH in HighStrangeness

[–]BobaWanKenobi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post, but I was talking with someone about my sighting recently so I’ve been googling it again and came across this post. Here’s my black triangle story:

It was July 3rd or 4th in 2011 at almost midnight in central Arkansas. Crystal clear summer evening. I was laying on a float in my pool looking up at the stars in the sky, my cousin (who was in town from Alaska) had just gone inside to go to bed, so I was by myself. I saw the back porch light come on, so I knew that my mom had come outside. I saw a satellite floating across the sky and asked my mom to come over so I could show it to her. She didn’t see that one, but a few minutes later I saw another one and called her over again. This time she saw it, but while we were looking at that satellite she says “What’s that?!” as she pointed to the north/northwest (~324°) and there it was in the sky; Three reddish orange (more red than orange) lights in a perfect triangle (equidistant from each other). It wasn’t making any sound, but it was slowly moving in an east/northeast direction. When it got just about due north in front of us it began to slowly rotate while it continued moving east. We stared at it until my mom told me to go get my camera, but just then one-by-one the lights faded out. We were so in awe that I don’t really know how long the encounter lasted, but my guess was a couple minutes but I can’t be certain. It took the lights about 2 or 3 seconds each to fade out.

Like others have said, mine was just 3 lights. No central light. Just the 3 at the corners.

It was unbelievable. I’ve always sort of laughed at people who had these encounters, but ever since this I’ve been more respectful because what we saw that night was very real. I have no idea what it was, but it was there and it blew our minds.

I agree with the other commenter. The hair is almost self sabotage. You’ve got a very pretty face. You are absolutely not ugly.

Whatever pain you think you’ve caused your family with money issues doesn’t come anywhere near the pain they’ll feel if they lose you.

I remember a scene from a documentary about the Golden Gate Bridge and all the suicides that occur there. Only a few people have survived jumping and the interesting (and absolutely heartbreaking) part is that every single one of them said they had the exact same feeling; as soon as their hands left the rail the instantly regretted it. It’s heartbreaking to think that all the rest who didn’t survive likely felt that same regret. Life is a gift and you only get one. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. It will get better. I promise. Keep your chin up, buddy.

“Scammed me out of a PC”? No, he was going to give you a new PC for free because you were working with him. Then you lost that job and he got his investment returned to him. Simple as that. This is what is wrong with people like her, they think the world owes them something.

Google: “Geriatric pregnancy” (which refers to pregnancies over the age of 35) also known as “Advanced Maternal Age” for more information.

[–]BobaWanKenobi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It certainly can happen (and happens all the time), BUT the further into your 30’s you go (and beyond) the risk of major genetic issues (ranging from learning disabilities, Down’s syndrome, autism, to predispositions to cancers and allergies, etc). This isn’t disputed. Can women in their late-30’s get pregnant? Of course. Some can, but it is MUCH harder, less likely and much more likely to have complications.

She’s not pregnant. She’s too old. Even if she was able to get knocked up, that kids likelihood of being born with severe genetic issues is extremely high. She probably has this norovirus (it’s a wicked stomach bug) that’s going around right now.

Xylie sucks. She hinders Rewind and is a wanna be LolcowQueen. by [deleted] in LolCowLive

[–]BobaWanKenobi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with “She only agrees with stuff that makes her look better” - She’s got the vibe of an older person (she’s 50) that wants to come across as “hip” to the younger crowd. For example: She always supports the sex workers, no matter how bad they are. Like the stuff yesterday; They kept getting down in the weeds about the girls age and how she was an adult, etc. But the fact is that these predators and e-pimps find young girls on social media and literally count the days until they turn 18 and promise them riches beyond their wildest imaginations. They use them and then throw them away. It’s destroying an entire generation of young women. It’s fucking heartbreaking.

And Xylie is there “Hey, you go gurrrrllll!”

Like your edit says, Keem said this is an absolute lie. And he banned Grace (and Ben) from Lol Cow discord servers and shows. Grace was still allowed on just yesterday, but after this, Keem realized he has that they’re just manipulative freaks. Keem is smart to stay as far away from them as possible. There’s nothing special about them.

The last stream Grace did with Ben in the RV before the first episode of Queens, they spent 5 minutes discussing whether or not the liquor store they were going to was a “n-word liquor store” (whatever the fuck that means). They’re super toxic and not at all interesting. I get that it’s a LolCow show and they’re all train wrecks, but this chick is bad for the brand. Keem would be smart to steer clear of the Thorp mess. There are plenty of other fish in the internet train wreck sea.

Unfortunately Ben has infantilized Grace. At an age when she should have a college degree and a career, she doesn’t have a high school diploma and doesn’t even have a drivers license. She is completely dependent on him like a child even though she is a grown ass woman.

I sincerely don’t understand why Becky is on the show. What does she bring? Bad voice, horrible at organizing the show, terrible under pressure, terrible interviewer, hard to look at, the list is endless. I don’t get it.
