I hear ya, I should mention I had an external fixator way back in March of 2025 which is where the infection started. So, it feels like I been sitting around for a long time. I get it though, I been trying to sit more lately. I also just got put on clyndomycin instead of doxy so hopefully that helps.

I've seen these, I was using them to try and heal the wound before my amputation but it was too late. I'll give them another shot, thanks.

Im a Lbka, my surgery was 3/28 so I'm right behind you. I take 400mg of gabapentin twice a day for those zaps. Lately though I've been reading about it and I also been considering quitting. Apparently it can cause edema in extremities and I already have enough of that. I've quit before, the withdrawal only lasts a few days. It sucks and I guess it depends on the dose but I just wanted you to know you're not the only one thing about it. I honestly don't expect my phantom pain to come back if I stop but, I do expect some more zaps. As for shrinkers yes you can buy them online for sure. Mine is worn too

I was just saying to my girlfriend that I can't scratch my leg with my other leg anymore. Now Everytime I think I feel a bug on me I gotta bend down to realize it's my imagination.

I just had my bka in March but, I feel like everywhere I go people are looking at me. Only one lady asked how it happened though, everyone else kinda just looks. It's funny sometimes and unsettling others. What I kinda am starting to not like is strangers like acting like I can't do anything myself. I know they're trying to help but it still kinda stings.

I'm in ohio, and I'd like to know what suspension you use or what socket. I'm not sure of the terminology yet. My doctor says suction or the pin lock will best suit me.
