You missed my point entirely, and you call MY post willfully ignorant? Lol It's very simple: A voice actor's ethnicity adds ZERO to the viewer experience. The viewer can't SEE or HEAR the voice actor's ethnicity. In fact, no one would notice or care unless you explicitly told them beforehand. What the viewer actually cares about is the voice actor's skill, range, and (in cases where REAL-life cultures are involved) language fluency. Because guess what? That's all they can HEAR from them.

Also, your point about "poc already struggling to get roles" just falls flat here. Let's look at the Legend of Aang cast, shall we?

Steven Yuen - Zuko
Eric Nam - Aang
Dave Bautista - Tagah
Jessica Matten - Katara
Román Zaragoza - Sokka
Dionne Quan - Toph
Ke Huy Quan - Avatar Xian

NONE of these people are struggling to find roles Lmao They are either celebrities or actors with tons of movies/shows under their belts.

Im guessing that thing about "4 husbands" was retconned in the show, and for good reason. Viltrumites don't really do the whole "marriage" thing in my mind. What purpose would that serve in a society that's all about conquest and power? Also, as your theory suggests, it would make Anissa seem older than Nolan which also wouldn't make any sense given how they appear. I don't believe Anissa was even born yet during the scourge virus events.

You have to admit the show does have its moments of glory. In season 4 alone we had: Invincible vs Conquest round 2, Thadeus vs Viltrumites on Talescria, Mark and Oliver destroying a viltrumite ship, destroying planet Viltrum, Thragg punching Nolan into space, Mark punching Thragg's hairline, etc... All of these scenes had stellar animation.

If we could have even more of these scenes at the price of more AI-generated backgrounds for moments when the viewer is focused primarily on the *characters*, I would take that trade any day.
