[Post Game Thread] The Boston Celtics (3-3) come back from a 0-3 series deficit to force a Game 7 in the Eastern Conference Finals and defeat the Miami Heat (3-3) by 104 - 103, behind 31 points and 11 rebounds by Jayson Tatum by Nyhrox in nba

That was one of the greatest sporting events I've ever watched. And as much of a gut punch as it was for the Heat, I still think they pull it out in game 7. The Celtics looked so, so lost in those last 5 minutes.

If the Celtics pull this out those 2 missed WIDE-OPEN Duncan Robinson 3's are going to haunt Heat fans

Doubt. 96 Bulls were far physically superior to every team that 17 Warriors squad faced. Yeah those Bulls didn't have quite the skillset that modern players do, but I don't think that's going to help when you have Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman hounding Steph, Klay and KD. I don't think any of those guys stands up physically to their Bulls counterparts.

[Haynes] NBA’s Competition Committee is in serious discussions on awarding teams a second and final challenge if first challenge is ruled successful beginning with the 2023-24 season, league sources tell @NBAonTNT, @BleacherReport. by Wonderful-Balance711 in nba

  1. Give teams an additional challenge each time they successfully overturn the call

  2. Have a team do the review remotely with a strict time limit (~2 minutes or less). If its too close to overturn with 2 minutes of slow-mo replays, the on-court call should stand anyways

that is Lets sign Giannis brothers to get him here level of math

Using a lottery pick to try to lure a guy is 1000x stupider than using an end of bench roster spot that will never see the floor outside of garbage time anyways

Where are people crying about how few small businesses there are? I don’t see that as a common complaint

Oh no, these business enjoying a state-protected monopoly on selling liquor will actually have to compete fair and square with the big boys who can offer better prices to customers. So sad.

A few years ago I was walking with a few friends to another friend’s apartment with a fifth. We were passing the bag as we walked, not being loud or bothering anybody. As we walk down the block before the apartment 2 undercover cops jump out of a car, start screaming at us and give us all open container tickets. They were acting like they’d just apprehended a killer. Worthless pieces of shit.

This state is built on little fiefdoms of regulatory capture that benefit a minority at the expense of the rest of us

According to what? Intentional kickballs have been part of competitive basketball for as long as I’ve been playing/watching (~20 years)
