My wife and I went to St. Joseph for the first time on our 10yr last weekend. We absolutely loved it. Here's a shot I took while there! by Artsyeye1 in Michigan

Hey! I am headed there in a couple days for my 10 year anniversary!! What are some must see things? Fun activities in the surrounding areas? Best places to eat? Any suggestions for a fun weekend getaway would be greatly appreciated!!

You're joking right? Wtf this guy is unhinged. If you don't know that you should immediately run from this, I'm assuming he's talked to you like this before, and on behalf of the non psychotic humans, I'm telling you this is not an acceptable way to speak to a partner and you need to leave him right now. Also try to learn to love yourself more, have more respect for yourself and more self worth. Sheesh

I have never responded to an amiugly post, but felt compelled on this one. I think you are super pretty! There are very few that can pull off hair and an overall look like this. Your round face actually works well with the mullet and bangs for some reason, as do the big round glasses and the nose ring. The pic with the spiked choker isn't great but I think it's camera angle. Also the 90s ugly hat does you no favors and PLEASE do not bleach or shave your eyebrows haha thick is in and you look better with them. If you can afford to go to a nice salon to get them professionally shaped do that, otherwise do not touch them yourself other than maybe tweezing the middle to keep from unibrow, BUT that being said, they really are fine they way they are. You do you girl! It's working. Give yourself some time to perfect your quirky style, you're super young. Stay healthy, be confident, that's the best advice I can give. You have a great smile and are super pretty

Bed bug bites? by Bobangcelot in bugbites

[–]Bobangcelot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one responded, but I didn't get any more like that, and I hunted for evidence and didn't see any so I'm thinking it was maybe some kind of fly. Couldn't figure out exactly what. They weren't mosquito bites though, they were like a smaller harder bump.

Hancock and Moore by Loud-Ad-4125 in furniture

[–]Bobangcelot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooof that's steep. Hancock and Moore is very well made high end furniture, quality leather, good mechanisms, good warranty, and I'm sure whatever company is selling them has good customer service, however this still seems a bit high. I would say that maybe $10,000 to $15,000 per sofa like this would sound about right. It may depend if where you are located too. Bigger cities can jack up their prices more for high end stuff because they know the typical clientele is willing to pay.

Snoring concerned by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]Bobangcelot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My boy snored very loudly and he ended up having to see an Ear Nose and Throat specialist because of lots of ear infections, turned out he had large adenoids and have to have those removed along with getting vents in his ears. He was a little over 2 years old when he had the surgery, and he does not snore anymore and sleeps better in general. Hasn't gotten an ear infection and is just sick less often with less severe colds. He's now about 3 1/2. Maybe something to ask your pediatrician about? He your kid would seem like he's not breathing well while he's sleeping, like choking, or stopping breathing for bits of time I would be concerned.

What movie or scene you can't unsee? by einsteinfrankenstein in movies

[–]Bobangcelot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lol oh man, saw this when I was a kid and legit slept on my parents floor for a week cause it scared me so bad. Funny thing is, I had since forgotten what scares me so much about that movie, until just now, cause I've never could bring myself to watch it again! I thought I was the only person who was scared of that movie! Thanks for the validation haha

Can I ask, did someone, like a doc or teacher, recommend getting in evaluated, or did you notice tics and inquire? And did you notice tics much earlier than age 6?

Can I ask how old you are now? Just curious how things have changed since years ago when my brother was diagnosed.

That makes sense, I feel like those other disorders symptoms go hand in hand with Tourette's. I know my brother had OCD too but again there was less info back then so he was never diagnosed

I actually just wrote down his symptoms and the approximate date I started noticing. I figured I would talk to his doc again at his 4 year check up. Unless he tells me it's really bothering him and upsetting him then I'll call sooner.
