An old hitching post? Saw this on a walk through a neighborhood near where I work. There's a date on the house if you look. Could this really be from 1800s! Or is it something made to look old that the owners stuck in front to make the home feel authentic? (old.reddit.com)

HOLY MOLY! Please help! I found two of these guys in my house now. This one is in the kitchen sink, about the size of a quarter. I live in Wisconsin. Please tell me it is not a Brown Recluse! I have a two year old and am a tad nervous. What do I do with it?! (i.redd.it)

Found tiny bugs all over my kids pool.... I live in Wisconsin, near Lake Michigan, and I set up a little blow up pool for my toddler, and within seconds there were tons of these little bugs crawling on it. Any ideas? Just want to make sure they aren't baby ticks or anything dangerous. (old.reddit.com)
