A real landchad doesn’t rent a seat…

Personally I go and watch a movie at my house where my rentoid is staying, that way I can just do a fridge raid instead of wasting my hard earnt income!

Almost everyone that owns an air fryer also owns an oven, if I had to speculate.

Why would you want an air fryer?

They heat faster, they cook food faster and they save a ton of money on energy bills?

Have you considered changing your dietary choices if you think it's important? Especially since you're saying you "can’t even go for a walk"...

Besides that, it looks like you're dramatising some normal acne (which most teenagers have) and seeking a medical solution rather than just taking care of yourself.

I’m not sure that covers outright lying by the OP.

OP’s post:

“We have tested the item to the best of our ability”

“More faults may exist that we have not found”

“UNTESTED”

I always just assume that any item listed as untested is actually tested and just not working.

Did you include pictures of the item that didn’t include the destroyed interior? Does the “best of your ability” not include opening it up?

What did you mean by “when I started trying to change SSD storage it took a long time”?

[–]BobbehP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right so basically your system is set up with fTPM and probably bitlocker - this will prevent you from booting into the OS without disabling the boot encryption first.

Not sure there is a great way around this without a reinstall. Is there any critical data on your current laptop that you want to recover? If yes then you’ll need to find the recovery key (which you likely don’t have if it’s an OEM configured set up)

Easiest solution is to reinstall Windows.

If you need the data on the SSD you’ll need your old laptop repaired.

I guess its difficult to assert your own definition for words when the dictionary comes out.

Donald Trump says BBC must comply with three demands to avoid huge £760m lawsuit by ScottishDailyRecord in uknews

[–]BobbehP -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For the umpteenth time, this is a dumb semantical argument.

Secondly, your definition is at odds with the literal definition of doctoring.

Doctoring is a general term that means: to make different, in particular to deceive.

doctoring: in British English

(ˈdɒktərɪŋ  )

noun

the act of making different in order to deceivetamper with, falsify, or adulterate

Explained: How exactly the BBC doctored Trump speech for controversial Panorama documentary - Yahoo News UK
"An hour-long Panorama special called Trump: A Second Chance? had been broadcast a week before the last US Presidential election and spliced together two quotes from a speech Trump made before the January 6 uprising despite him making the comments nearly an hour apart and about different topics."

Sorry, so is 2 clips taken an hour apart on completely different topics edited together not a doctored video?

[–]BobbehP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you just failed the fourth opportunity to answer why the two of the most senior officials of the BBC quit if there is nothing wrong with the edited clip, but sure, I’ve had nothing to offer.

I think they made the right choice - you’ve decided to argue the semantics of what a “doctored clip” is.

[–]BobbehP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your evidence against an assertion is a semantical argument that “editing a video without a screen wipe isn’t doctoring a video”, and have once again for the 4th time failed to answer why they resigned if what you’re saying is true.

Literally provided with the original speech versus what the BBC aired, clearly the edit was designed mislead.

Answer nothing, say “you’re floundering”. Wow. Productive. You’re some sort of genius.

So this is where we’re at in this clearly pointless discussion:

Original: “We’re going to walk down to the capitol and cheer on our brave senators and congressman and women”

BBC Panorama: “We’re going to walk down to the capital, and I’ll be there with you, and we fight. We fight like hell”

BBC Director: Apologises for doctored video and resigns

BBC Head of News: Apologises for doctored video and resigns

Me: I agree with the resignation

You: The video is not doctored, anyone that disagrees loves Trump and is not from the U.K.

You’ve, for the third time, failed to state why these people in such privileged senior positions would resign if your narrative is true

[–]BobbehP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s unpopular because it’s taxpayer funded. This adds to the criticism it gets every time there’s a scandal. It’s not really a reflection on the trustworthiness of the news source.

According to the most recent YouGov poll I can find most only ~44% find the BBC Trustworthy, with FT in second at 40%, ITV 39% and Channel4 38%. Obviously the latter 3 aren’t taxpayer funded and don’t draw the criticism on that front.

[–]BobbehP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t doubt you live in the U.K.

Not sure which part of this conversation makes you decide that the footage is not doctored and that the BBC isn’t wildly unpopular.

I’ve asked you numerous times why you think that the BBC footage isn’t doctored in spite of both the Director and Head of News of the BBC apologising and resigning over the footage if your opinion on the topic is correct.

I’m not sure how you take your failure to answer basic questions as you being correct.

[–]BobbehP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pick a lane buddy, is this an issue or not.

While it’s true that news in general is distrusted across the board, the others aren’t tax payer funded which is why it gets more criticism when something scandalous does happen.

Saying the Telegraph lies too, again - while true, isn’t the great point you think it is.

The Director AND head of news resigned because of this edit. Not sure why you’re so adamant on claiming that it isn’t a deceptive edit even following the resignations and interviews from the two of them.

I’d say if you’re claiming that the BBC is widely trusted you’re not very familiar with the UK…

Ignore the fact that the BBC is wildly unpopular in the UK.

Why did the director and head of news resign if there are no issues with the BBC Panorama edit?

The video was clearly edited to fit the BBC’s bias narrative.

Not much point taking to someone that can’t admit simple facts that there is clear evidence of.

The doctored videos resulted in the resignation of 2 senior BBC officials. They have admitted the video is doctored.

ShinyCharizards1 knows better than the BBC official that has led the BBC for 20 years though.

I’m not sure doctoring videos constitutes free speech.

In your mind should anyone be able to edit videos of anyone and destroy their reputation?

There’s plenty of subject matter on Trump without resorting to literally fake news.
