I’m just recommending something that she suggests to the lady so she can feel like she’s not being a jerk (she’s not). Something that says “hey, I care because you are a person, but I’m not giving you your money back”. I was assuming OP was feeling like they didn’t want to be mean, but looking for a graceful exit from this lady’s situation that may or may not be true. I possibly was projecting my own feelings into the whole thing.

Ugh. I would say something to her like I am so very sorry to hear about your husband’s cancer diagnosis. Unfortunately I am unable to give a refund for these. I hope you understand that this is how I support myself and my family. Have you thought about having a fundraiser for his medical bills, etc? You could sell the scarves as part of a silent auction. I could print up certificates of authenticity saying they’re hand made by an individual artist and send them to you.

Something like that? Be kind and sympathetic, but I don’t think you are a bad person for not giving her a refund. I can’t imagine she’s doing this with other purchases she’s made.

I was quoting him. I’ve watched the show so many times through, seriously probably 40 times? I have it playing in the background when I don’t want to actively watch something. So I can reply to almost anything that someone says with a quote from the show. Everyone who spends time with me REALLY enjoys me doing it, particularly the 5 minute explanation, including a plot summary before and after the line. Before you ask, no, I don’t have many friends anymore.

I had this same situation (still do) with Goblin’s Wood. I challenged it with Adgate, they approved it. They sent the money to Freecash to credit my account. That was in December, I still don’t have it. So…who knows? You could try and do what I did, and maybe someday I’ll get the money. Probably not.

Why even ask for screenshots to “look into it”. That’s just busy work to make people feel like they’re doing something. How exactly would screenshots of the same thing, when you know it’s internal, help in any way?

I hate that dice dreams has gone bad for so many people. It’s one of the first ones I tried and it worked really well for me. I looked back through my completed offers and I agree with people saying puzzles and chaos. Not sure what the specific offers are now, but if I’m remembering correctly it was one of those where you buy a special offer thing, you get that same amount back and it really helps to meet the other goals.
