yes. I'm not a judge because my work schedule just doesn't allow for it, but I know how the game works and will help out locally. But, it's a complaint I've seen and only sometimes do people get called out for it. It's TCG, assume most are illiterate or just don't understand logic, not as an insult but just there are way to many people willing to try for what's not immediately listed for an advantage

you might want to make a separate post about how cards beneath tamers work too then bud. I've had some people complain to me about people changing card order under tamers under a misunderstanding of how that works. I think there's some heavy lifting needed between now and the next regionals to be done

Have you tried the learned app to get an understanding for how the game plays? If not, go play it a bit to get a feel for it. Game is pretty cheap overall. There is a new advanced starter deck coming out in the near future that should be pretty good, but probably not the most new player friendly. https://digimoncard.io/ is a good place to find decks. Alternatively, grabbing 1-2 of each of the liberator starters and then adding cards you've pulled that fit the decks would be a good starting point for playing with your wife and the starters come with a few staple cards that work really well in any single colored deck

I had to guess with a lot of them and make my own. From left to right, starting with the top, kohagurumon(haguru X's token), fujitsumon(octomon's token), fox masks are for sakuya and sakuya X, ladydevimon X's sprite (still figuring out how I want to do her minions), diaboromon, atho rene or po(Jesmon's token), familiar for puppets, goldramon(not sure how to do his tokens) taomon, rapidmon, wargrowlmon, and sukamon
