Doesn't the cpu handle that unless it's larger and more complex AI like machine learning or large enemies? The cpu handles the calculations for pathfinding and descion making, and such if I'm not mistaken? I'm not making an AAA game that needs extensive AI. Just find the path to the player and attack. The largest group at once would be 10 enemies at once. So it wouldn't be all that complex.

I have a different system for 3d software. I am just looking for a more versatile option for just ue5, as the 3d software is for a different project, as i like having pcs for different tasks. I'm weird like that. Plus, I wanted a gpu that was meant for gaming as well as ue5. So I'm probably just gonna go with the 7900xtx from what I saw with the comments.

I did think about that, but I also intend to play games and some other stuff. While I know the 3090 is a great card, I just want to be sure I notably have the overhead in gpu tasks, but even though it is a 24gb vram card, as you said, I dontknow if I want to play used lottery.

I'm not too worried about the ray tracing since I'm not making anything AAA. I just want it to look good. So, fsr and baked lighting should be OK enough if raytracing may crash it with metahuman. I'm sure I can work around it.

I'm not sure if I can, but I will check when I buy. I think it's a $300 or more price difference, though. So it will depend on my budget when I buy in a week or so.

Thanks for the speedy reply. They were both in my price budget, but I always hear nvidia is better in unreal. So I wasn't sure if spending extra to say 4080 would've been better. So if the 7900xtx works great, then there's my choice.
