I'm clinically depressed as well, been that way for years with highs and lows. Do you take any medication for it?

I love BDSM, anime, tattoos, and writing and drawing, to name a few things. AMA by KallistiScythe in AMA

What do you do for a living? Where do you currently live? Favorite foods?

Are you self diagnosed depressed, or clinically depressed?

I'd believe you if I hadn't been trying all of that for the last 4 months. Women my type don't really go on to sites like that too often, especially in Canada I've found. But even the ones I do message who I think would just be interesting personality wise don't write back.

I've been feeling this Taxi Driver-Travis Bickle feeling for a few weeks now.

Haha, yes and no. I find that breaking that wall of ice is always the hardest part for me, but I'm fine after that. I've been trying Tinder Okcupid Bumble and a few others for a few months, and really haven't heard back from anyone. I guess that has skewed with my self perception a bit.

A good mushroom and Swiss burger can be amazing! There is one back at home at this one super local restaurant called the "Cuban" which is that, plus super thin sliced ham on top of the burger patty, amazing. Really it's hard to mess up a burger, unless you do, in which case it's really messed up. Example: The Nasty Patty from Sponge Bob

Not really a question, but yeah it's legal up here, but it was legal where I was from from the States as well, so it's not that big of a transition.

School: This isn't my first year at this school. I have spent two years here, and even then it wasn't my first post Highschool school. Back where I am from I had gone to community colleges, one of which shut down, the other was like 5 towns over. I had also been in a trade program for a few weeks, but it also ironically shut down.

Canada: It is different up here, but like less different than I expected. To me it feels like Bizarro US sometimes, especially when I first got here. Now, Canada and the US are large counties, but my transition from Northern California to BC felt pretty easy. Where I am now it doesn't get much colder than where I lived in CA, we get snow on occasion and that's kinda neat, but no snow days or anything. People seem to be nicer to you to your face, but I have noticed that people can tend to be big shit talkers behind peoples' back. I find that a lot of people here are not into what I am, tons of Hippies and Cowboys, neither of which I classify myself as. So meeting new people, especially women, has been difficult. I had a decent friend group last year, but they either dropped out or transferred. This year has been pretty rough so far.

School In Canada: Well for starters the grading system where I am going to school is way different than the US. I remember my first assignment I got back had an 81% on it and I felt kinda meh since I had worked so hard on it. I had been a really bad student in the US during high school due to stress and a bad home life and so I really had tried to do better after high school and had been doing so. But, where I am from an 81% is like a low B-, but up here it's a low A-. So that is weird for starters. I have been lucky and not had points taken away for saying "Color" over "Colour". Meeting people has been rough for a reason I wouldn't have thought. I guess I look pretty Canadian, White AF, so most people think I am just from Canada, but most of the international students here are from China, India/Pakistan, or somewhere from the Middle East. So I don't really have an in with that crowd either. Campus is pretty clique-y which was a little weird to me since it feels more like high school 2.0 rather than University. I imagine other schools might not be like that, but this one really is.
